People with high anxiety are most likely in a hypersuggestable state as it is, so self hypnosis would be ideal.

I pretty much live in a state of anxiety, doctors have tried many different drugs (that all failed) and now i am relying on self hypnosis to try to keep me calm, due to being allergic to most drugs. My career depended on my calmness, which in return caused MORE anxiety. I had to change careers. I am using the Mental Bank system, which is a form of self hypnosis. I just have to remember to do my affirmations each night.

Mental Bank by John Kappas is amazing on working with the subconscious and abreactions due to the subconscious rejecting success. While i admit, it's mostly for achieving higher income, it's also great for anything you desire, and works automatically as long as it's done. The mental bank is a short cut to the subconscious, so is perfect for self hypnosis.
Absolutely, hypnosis is the greatest tool to relaxation!
I think that it's a good tool for everyone! I've been practicing and teaching self hypnosis since 1989. Well, practicing since 1980 but on a daily basis since '89. I am fairly high strung but my clients all think that I'm a pillar of peacefulness. Thank goodness for self hypnosis. When I feel myself getting wound up I take breath and remember what it's like when I'm peaceful and just go there. Yes, teach it to everyone who shows the slightest interest... anxiety clients included.
All hypnosis is self hypnosis...teaching your client self hypnosis would be great for them and for you too.
