The best thing you can do on your brochre is show how you can answer a need; lose weight, stop smoking etc. biggest mistake I see all the time is make the focus on Hypnosis per se. Invite people to imagine, learn discover etc. how they will feel once their problem is solved. Then you can mention that hypnosis is the solution.
Always direct them to some kind of action - call you, web site etc. and give them a non-threatening reason/incentive to do so - free report whatever.
When you make the focus on either hypnosis or yourself you are focusing on what you find interesting not what is likely to make joe/jane public pick up and take home your brochure let alone call you.
If you are prepare a leaflet to give out at talk I would design it as an 8X11.5 four page fold and make sure that you give them a reason to write their notes on it. This is what will help make sure they are taken home.
