I've had a couple of clients over the years who have gone into the state between lives rather than into a past life. Is that what you're referring to?

Hi Katherine, that's one occurrence, yes, How did they or you deduce they were between lives and how did they describe this? I have had a couple who just describe black or a colour as much as I tried to regress them and presumed in the end they had not had any previous lives. Others appear as Orbs (see my website www.hypnotherapysa.co.za) with no bodies.... observing not participating in events around them.

Hi Art,
describing a colour...perhaps they were energy, was there a feeling or an understanding etc connected with the colour?
The orbs... what about a life- form different from our own?
It seems that whatever a client describes can be investigated further.

I have had people describe themselves as if they were "energy" or that their was "energies" around them. Often they get confused as I think we all want to relate to ourselves in human form. I have never spent much time with them in this area alone however as I've found the few that do feel this start almost bringing themselves up as they start to analyze too much. It's has not been a state that they felt comfortable in accepting. Hope that makes sense.

Hi Bonnie, thanks for your reply.That is exciting... I am sure this is the state I refer to on mywebsite as Orbs..a concentrated form of souls, a sphere of consciousness. Next time you find this, calm rthem and assure them it is a normal state for our development and get more info to pass on!

Hi Wendy I believe the Orbs are souls, they and we are all energy and they can be anywhere in the Universe. We could easily have been on another planet or in another dimension in previous lives, but when you see pictures of Orbs in swarms of tens of thousands you realise they are something very real and when so many people describe not hqaving bodies in previous lives I think this backs up the fact Orbs are souls.

Hey Art I have had the oportunity to exeperience age regression, without hypnosis... Doctor said it was a disociative episode.... But it was like my mind was only ever on one thing at a time (espeically when I regressed to a child,) If I was set on going to the park I was going no matter what... I actually have a funny story about that episode, but yah for me my focus was and is only on one thing at the time... I sometimes feel that I am completly absorbed in the moment that it almost seems like I am bodyless or as if I am floating over the situation...

That can be regressing whilst Astral Travelling, another specialty of mine if you travel you can go back and some say forward in time also...mail art@hypnottherapysa.co.za and we can talk that way also

Hi Art,

The clients who appeared to be between lives had a different voice inflection and (if I remember correctly) announced that they were the spiritual form of my client when I asked. The spirit is also much wiser than the client. It's really hard to describe. I tap in using my intuition so at the time it all makes perfect sense but later it's hard to explain. I've had some interesting conversations with clients in hypnosis but unless I've recorded the session it's rather elusive later.

It's hard to imagine anyone who hasn't had any previous lives. Perhaps it just wasn't the right time to re-visit them. Or perhaps their past lives don't have relevance to their current life. I have more questions than answers. :)

If you have a client describing having no body perhaps they are describing an EB attachment. Often times PL experiences are really those of an Earthbound attachment. I would ask common questions for spirit releasement techniques to rule that possibility out.

Hi Art,

It isn't unusual for clients to Astral Travel or have out-of-body experiences under hypnosis. Usually they are very deep ( often in a Theta state) and don't remember what happened. They are often surprised to listen to the tape of the session and find themselves describing looking down at their body, flying over houses, cities and countries or remote viewing. I suggest books that relate to their experience - Bob Monroe's books on Astral projection/OBE; David Morehouse on Remote Viewing etc. I also prepare a CD for them to practice with at home with the goal to make these experiences more lucid. Stephen Barge's process of Lucid Dreaming is excellent for this.

BTW, I learned the hard way not to use CD's with past life regression clients. I know there are lots out there ( Brian Weiss, Dick Stuphen, Doreen Virtue) but people with real issues may need you there in person in case they go into trauma or shock. I had a woman who seemed 100% aware and confident and merely curious about past life regression. After 3 sessions I made her a CD. Her husband called me two nights later freaking out that she thought she was being slaughtered by a Turk in the Armenian holocaust. Fotunately, she lived in the same city so I could go over there and calm her down. Since then I NEVER regress over the phone or in a CD. You never know what is going to happen!

I just posted needing help with a client who comes up blank every time she's tried to be regressed. I too come up blank many times, but have caught snippets such as a face or a name. The snippets tend to happen so quickly I can't grab hold of them so I've been unable to experience a full regression.
