If I ask myself, “Could our conscious mind be the forbidden fruit that Adam and Eve took? Could then the Eden be within us?” My answer is, “I believe so.” I ask you, "How about you?" Your answer is...

I think when Adam did finally agreed eating the Apple by listening to Eve, they both understood the severity of the consequences, but despite all the warnings, they decided to eat the forbidden fruit anyways; for them it worth the risk, there for the turning point for Adam and Eve was their desire to understand the world around them "The Conscious Mind", that was part of their taking risks by putting them self into temptation despite the known consequences?
so I guess that means Yes.

thank you for your insights and thank you for adding me as your friend. i know this could be sensitive issue for some and maybe even compounding, but for me, i thought it would be fun to explore and hope the same for you. so, i have a question to explore for fun; do you really feel that they took it fully knowing or they were tricked into taking it?
Hello again,
I don't see it as a sensitive issue , just me :) actually i think it is very interesting, since before I changed my email address, my email was forbidden fruit lol so, I can relate and I agree it can be be fun to explore.
like I said, Yes, to me it seems as clear as a crystal that if they were going to eat from the forbidden fruit regardless to being tricked or not, they are crossing the boundaries...
So no trick here, it was curiosity and challenge from the unknown, what If? I eat it and nothing will happen?
What if, If I eat it and I will like it?
What if .. what if.. what if.. what if.. and the only way to find out is to go for it, like life it self, we make the choices and if it is bad either we learn or we don't, eventually we Will learn sooner or later...
with our help or without our help...

Doreen
thank you. of course, i have yet another question. :) if they had known what they knew then, do you think they would still decide to take it? in other words, if they really knew and felt in their mind that they would be casted out of the eden and never be back, do you feel that they'd still take it? lastly, what motivated them with the thought of "what if?"
This is only my opinion, and Yes, even if they had known what they knew then, I am confident that they would still decide to take it!

Hey, After all Its not so bad here lol, we only make it as bad as we want it to be...
We both know that we can create many things in our mind, that includes Eden...

Lets put it this way, we learn from our environmental surroundings and not only from our parents... we always hear don't do that and don't do this, but we decide what the heck, I need to know for sure, why not? and they do it any ways, like smoking for example, we know it is bad for our health, we have been tolled it is bad, but who ever decides to smoke still will smoke, despite the fact that smoking is bad or it can kill you.
Now some will say, If I new it will really harm me, I would have stopped it, but again the "What If" it's by itself I am not learning until I feel it and experience it.. after all maybe I don't like Eden so much, maybe for me it is not too exciting, It is too pretty and simple.. I want action, I want to have a burning desire to do thinks, I want challenge..
that should answer your question as to what motivate them of the thought of "what if?" :)

Doreen
great. thank you. if so, what if they didn't fully know or understand eden?
No one really fully know and understand Eden to this day, so they will still eat the forbidden fruit..

Doreen
Curiosity killed the pussy cat ;-)
