HypnoThoughts.com

the Free Hypnosis Social Network

Hello everyone,

I was recently on KTST radio, discussing how sound affects awareness and produces trance, and I have just posted the mp3 for people to enjoy. You can check it out at http://psimatix.com and scroll down to the mp3 link. Have you experienced the power of using sound to alter consciousness? Has it enhanced the depth of the hypnotherapy session?

Any thoughts or comments are welcome!

Be Well,

Take a look at the Overtone Music ning network that I also belong to. It's a European-based thing originally but there are some really interesting members doing fascinating things. My friend Baird Hersey, who has an overtone singing group "Prana" sugggested I join. I'll send you an invitation and you can check it out. I am getting ready to go to big NGH convention this week in Massachusetts, so I probably won't get a chance to stream your radio show til I get back. You can purchase individual songs off of 3 of my CD's as MP3's if you find them on the CD Baby website. I did get your order and I am going to throw in a gift CD as well as the one you ordered so you should be receiving those within a week.

Hi Erik,

Sorry about the delay in my response... MP3 compression does affect the quality of any recording, although to a degree that most people never notice. Certain types of music, like classical, are more affected than others. I have not noticed any dimished effect with my music when compressed, however, I do offer my music on cd. Visit http://psimatix.com to check it out. I do license my music for products that people are planning to sell. My typical arrangement is $100 for an unlimited use of a track, of which I can customize the length to fit a project, at no added cost. Thanks for your interest Erik.

As an addendum to this topic, I should mention another radio show that I was on -
This was an hour and a half interview with the 2 wonderful hosts of "The Empowerment Sanctuary" radio show. This interview really gave me a great opportunity to share some insights about how I create trance inducing soundscapes. Check it out by visiting my hypnothoughts page....

By the way, I have just completed launch of the PsimatiX™ Browser of Entrancing Soundscapes ! It has turned out so well, I wish I could just give it away for free, but it is definately affordable. It is a flash document that creates a very intuitive and efficient experience of the PsimatiX™ healing/trance music. You have to take a look! - The PsimatiX™ Browser of Entrancing Soundscapes
Hey Leigh,

I totally agree with you on your message and if you read my posting to you from before, you will clearly see that I was only talking about myself when it comes to the native sound, after all I am an emotional suggestible and a little different from most physicals :)
I said " I personally enjoy the native sounds followed with the hypnotic suggestions"

I also enjoy the native type sounds, especially the wooden flute. Since I like these sounds, I would be able to go pretty deep with them. I do appreciate what you are saying. I have been seeing you all over the place online, and at HMI, you must be doing well, I hope so...
