Is any one here doing phone sessions? If so, how successful are you? What are the best inductions to use? I am curious to find out if this can be a profitable add on? Let me hear your thoughts.

I do phone sessions mostly with client from my back home country and few other countries that i did workshops and lectures. It is ok, but I like face to face much better, since with phone session, you cannot do much, rather then relaxation, and none medical therapy and coaching.
I also do psychic reading, medium reading and distance energy healing over the phone, which it goes better then hypnosis for me.

Hi Scott, There are times that phone inductions are the only way that I can work with a client. You can be just as successful as the client being in the office. I like to use a standard progressive relaxation induction and go from there. It is very important that you give them protective suggestions that they will be able to hear your voice, if for anyreason they can't hear you they will immediatly come to full waking conscience. Thank you Doreen.
Thanks Robert.
I have only recently tried phone inductions.
I have found thus far that there are only
a few things you need.

1- Make sure the client has a good speaker phone.
2- Make sure the client is comfortable.
3- Either actually speak the induction OR play a recording.

In my limited experience, either way works well!
I feel that you could feasibly use just about
any type of induction you can imagine.

Scott,

I will do phone sessions once the client has had the initial session in person. I worked extensively over the phone with a client who lives 2 hours from me. I ask them to play some soothing music in the background, use the PR induction and tune in intuitively. It works as well for some clients as the in person sessions. As someone else mentioned it's more limiting. Since I record session for medical concerns I don't do those over the phone. But for emotional release work, it's great!

I never thought of pre recording an induction to play for phone clients. I always do it live. Do you ever find that the pre recorded one needs to be modified part way through. Such as lengthened or shortened?
Thank you Katherine. I do not plan on doing medical issues in my practice in the near future. It is not something I am interested in. There is always plenty of other issues to tackle.
Scott, again, this is Joe Lamberti. After 25 years of sales and public relations work over the phone. I have decided to specialize in phone sessions. Do one good sessions and watch the referrals come in. I give one free session to each client who refers me to a paying client. One lady in New York has referred me 4 paying clients. I keep 2 to 3 days per week open for phone sessions and am available the rest of the week for clinic work. I have to say, the phone sessions are great and for me very easy. If you read my testimonials on my website www.HynosisForLifeLA.com you will notice 6 testimonials. 5 of them are from phone clients. I even have assisted one client, the one in NY to overcome agouraphobia, anxiety and panic attacks. She now drives the streets of New York with no problem. Trust me, It works. Joe Lamberti C.Ht.
