Hi, does anybody know any speed inductions that I can use? I've not been doing hypnotherapy long, I've tried the 8 word induction but failed miserabely...at the moment I do a whole induction script in which they imagine theselves on a beach.....

Have a look at this three handshake version of an expectancy induction I posted here:

It's a good one to start out with.
Sure there are faster ones out there, but I really feel this one is a good one to help with the transition from the PMR/Guided Imagery type slower inductions.
Note how it's deliberately verbose. Some elements of the pretalk, convincers etc. are built in.
Always lead right into a good deepener.
Incidentally, one creative soul attending my course recently managed to get his 8 word induction "to finally work" by combining it with the "follow my fingers with your eyes and your head" from my esteemed colleague John Cerbone's Butterfly Induction.
i.e. He combined the shock element of one with the eye fixation of the other to create his own modified induction!
http://www.hypnothoughts.com/video/video/show?id=716892%3AVideo%3A8... is a link I just posted of some rapid inductions. When you watch it, to the right other videos of rapid induction will pop up... It domonstrated Cerbones method of eye fixation that Reg is talking about. Here are some videos of Cerbone teaching it, nothing better than from the horses mouth:

Hey Magic,

Reg and Richard gave some great examples of speed inductions. If you want to learn some more about them and the method behind what makes them work check out this article.

How to increase your success with Rapid and Instant Inductions

Its important to know the reason they work. You can still successful perform them from watching videos and learning as I did with Richards videos and many more in the beginning, but I found my success rate soar once I learned the principals of how they work and why they work. The induction is important, but in reality your success is created before you even go into the induction. Its all in the set up my friend.
