Does anyone have any familiarity with studies of hypnosis as a treatment modality for workers adjusting to issues caused by injury that left them unable to return to their former job? Anecdotes are nice, but studies, particularly published studies, would be much better for my purposes.
Thanks!

You can get tons of articles from PubMed, Medline Plus and Cochrane on how hypnosis has been used in specific treatments. I'm don't think I've ever seen anything segregated to just worker's comp injuries though. Stephanie Jourdan is President of the National League of Medical Hypnotherapists. I know she has worked extensively with worker's comp clients, their attorneys and their MD's. You can google her and ask if she knows of published studies. If anyone will know, she will.
Thanks Melissa - this is helpful and I will follow up...
