Getting ready to move (again) and looking at my collection of hypnosis and NLP books. The question I have for you is - If you could pick only one Hypnosis and one NLP book to take with you to the desert  island, what would they be?

Trance-Formations: Neuro-Linguistic Programming and the Structure of Hypnosis.  Bandler and Grinder.  Thanks to Melissa Tiers for pointing me back to the original printing with both authors.

Excellent! A 2 for 1.

Could I cheat and say 'The Collected Works of Milton Erickson'?! ;-)

If not, Hypnotic Realities by Erickson or Monsters and Magical Sticks by Heller.

Provocative Hypnosis by Jorgan Rasmussen and Transformations by Bandler and Grinder

Monsters and Magical Sticks is my current favorite. The Erickcson Collected Works would certainly keep you busy when not searching for coconuts :-)

The Provacative Hypnosis looks interesting on Amazon. (Is it worth $65?)

Worth $65?! Hmmm, not sure. I think it's cheaper if you buy it direct from Jorgen's site?

$64 on the site.

Ormond McGill's Hypnotherapy Encyclopedia and Monsters and Magical Sticks by Steven Heller.

Ah, dollars! Yeah, it's probably worth it.

I think I paid about £25 and - as I'd grown accustomed to hypno books being expensive - I wasn't disappointed.

Trances people live by Dr Wolinsky is for me the #1 book on Hypnosis, or anything by John Overdurf!!!! smiles Nath
