This is exactly why we created our approved homestudy programs. Although it is possible to find someone in your area, it isa also perfectly acceptable to learn via homestudy and practice using skype groups here, and with others in your area. Many of our homstudy students, often then come to live trainings (with us or other companies) and are pleased with how much they learned through homsetudy formats. For the person in a rural area, this is a good starting point to consider.

I'm in central WY. How many students can you pull together as I do not train less than 15 at a time? Also offered are NLP Prac and Master Prac and Usui Reiki. Students choice of ABH and NGH and The Society of NLP. Approximately 90% of my Licensed Master Prac. is advanced hypnotherapy. I do heavy emphasis on Ericksonian styled hypnosis. Can also do what I call a "Weekend Wonder" course which gives the tools necessary to continue studying by self reading books and watching DVD's. It's by far the cheapest and one will still get certified.

Thanks I appreciate all the suggestions. I may just have to go with home study Marjorie I appreciate your efforts as well... sadly people in my area are scared away from hypnosis more than wanting to learn it... I know, trying to get a subject around here has been a test for sure! Although I am proud of the fact I did help my dishwasher at work end his pain through hypnosis he was having from his wisdom teeth being taken out. Mr Green I have taken that course actually. I am on the last lesson with it, and your right it is a good course. I will still keep an eye out for more things and also check out the suggestions made with the distance learning. I am a bit leary tizing someone over skype as I would prefer to be in person... but one never knows.

Maybe not Karena. Antonio (here) found someone to go all the way to Hawaii for personal training with only as few as 3-4 students. I really like this person he found as certification is based on sending in a video of YOU WORKING WITH CLIENTS and not just attending a class. I've known Antonio for many years now and I know exactly how much this certification means to him. I know it is much more difficult in "our areas in the US" but once you learn and learn well, and get your business going you just may be in for a BIG HAPPY SURPRISE. Would you really want to go to a MD that learned on the net or would you rather go to one that has been to medical school and had lots of practice? There is also a person in England that will send out free eBook, Skype practice with fellow students and is quite good. Then comes the BIG PROBLEM --to receive the official certification one has to spend a week in London for personal training for which he expects a very large price.

There is also the option of on-line video classes. You get the benefit of real time training and interaction, yet from the comfort of your own home and with a 2 hour an evening schedule. I hold such classes online. Check out some of the videos I have posted of my classes on here if interested.
