Permalink Reply by FernTausig on December 18, 2011 at 7:02pm This is very helpful and I have used the same process with tremendous success...however, I have a stubborn female who is still holding on to the anxiety. She has a fear of death and a fear of being alone. She got it when she first got married leaving her parents to be with her husband..when I asked...what do you need to feel safe..the answer was a different husband! I anchored resources from her positive strong part...and did the movie technique...as she is afraid
to drive. I did timeline and affect bridge...she is still anxious....any suggestions...where do I go from here?
Thanks in advance for the support

Any hypnosis script will help with anxiety because they help teach people how to relax and you can't be relaxed and anxious at the same time! However, to help someone transform their anxiety, you'll be much more effective doing a 1:1 interactive uncovering session of some kind. I specialize in anxiety issues, and usually start off with a Body Wisdom process--where is the issue located in your body, what's it look/feel/seem like, and ask that representation of the issue some questions, i.e. what is your purpose, what do you want me (client) to know, what do you (representation of the issue or part) need to feel better? By going thru this process, you get at uncovering the purpose of the issue, and reframe it to find a more beneficial way to manage the concern (i.e. "anxiety is to protect me"--well, how can you feel safe and protected in a way that is more productive/positive for you?) And they get at the solution themselves, which is going to be a million times more powerful and potent than any "script." I also usually anchor in the anti-anxiety experience or feeling, whatever that is for them, so they have a tool to us whenever anxiety does come up for them (it's different for each person and situation, but that feeling/color/experience of calmness, or confidence, or success, whatever it is that comes up to create the feeling where the anxiety cannot be present for the client.)
Hope this helps. Hypnosis has been a truly life-transforming tool for my own anxiety, and I love seeing its success with others.
