the Free Hypnosis Social Network
I just got my first lead from Thumbtack.com. All I did was sign up for free, add my profile information and then update items until I was sitting at 100%. I did not know until today there is a $1.99 charge to reply to a request for information, but $1.99 is a small price when charging by the hour for a session with a client.
I'm not advertising for Thumbtack.com, just wondered if anyone else has used it or is familia with it.

Doug, I looked them up and I would advise some caution. Not only do they charge a fee per lead (with no guarantee the lead is a good or valid one) they are also apparently entitled to an 8% commission on your fees if you end up doing business with someone they connect you with. And it isn't clear if that 8% applies just to the initial appointment or any and all transactions you have with that individual. So between paying for leads that may not pan out and a rather high commission rate, this may not be such a great deal. Good luck to you. Jim
