Hi,

Has anyone had experience with treating rosacea on the face with hypnosis?  The only post I can find on here is the eHow article, which is quite general... experiences / tips would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Leighton

Hello Leighton,

Yes, I have helped people reduce their rosacea. As skin is the barometer of our emotions, a person can experience very fast relief when they learn to reduce their feelings of stress or anxiety. Many times, a client feels only a haze of these feelings and has not been able to clarify what they are trying to express; teaching how to achieve a "rest and digest" state on a daily basis will help with emotional detox.

Helping a client with this process through Parts work is a good technique. I have also used the "Body Lights" approach to regress first to a time before onset to explore possible influences that brought on the condition and addressing those, including reframing if appropriate.

On a nutritional note, people suffering with skin problems like rosacea and psoriasis have found help in the consumption and topical application of coconut oil. http://www.coconutresearchcenter.org/

Best wishes,

Kelley

Hi Kelley,

That's awesome! just what I was looking for. I had an idea about what I could do towards resolving this issue - but needed to know that there were others who had seen results.

The particular client experiencing this issue has spent 6 years trying every nutritional supplement, herbal remedy, conventional and complementary therapy under the sun - with little to no results. She has never experienced hypnosis however, so I am more determined than ever, to give her the best, and most positive experience that I can.

The Ebook is a great resource too - good find!

Best Wishes,

Leighton
Leighton it isn't about technique or the success of others. It's about you my friend and your assurance You can do something with it.

I know it does boost your confidence knowing it has been done but you know the first person to do anything had no one else to build on, they just did it.

Go for it mate.
