Hello Keith,

Would you like to share your experience using hypnosis to help with Asthma?
I would like to know, what you looking for, so we all can help, for example is it for a client? have you seen the client?
what do you know about their Asthma, is it a long term, is it an Asthma attack and when it happens, how many time a day, a week a month?
based on your Information,t will be easy for many of us to help as much as we can.
I am on my way to Jerusalem, so by the time I am next to a computer again,ou will have all the help you need, and If not I will be happy to help when I am back, most likely after 12 to 24 hours from now.

All the best, Doreen Cohanim C.Ht

Doreen,
Thank you for your "Thoughts". I am asking in relation to a client. I haven't seen her as of this typing, but will this week. I have read about Asthma on the web from a medical perspective and feel that I have a good base of understanding.
I wanted to know specifically what others have done from the Hypnosis side of the equation.

Thanks for your time on your way out of the door!

Many cures of Asthma in my career ----Gil Boyne
Mr. Boyne,

What a pleasure and honour to have you respond to my post. I am currently studying your 1989, "Transforming Therapy". When this new client called with a request for help with Asthma, I then looked at your web presence for "WWGBD" (What Would Gil Boyne Do). I know that I will be be able to help her help herself, but this is my first Asthma client. And I usually turn to my library and collegues for examples.

Thank You,

Hello Keith,

You can help using hypnosis for Asthma, when you have some knowledge about Asthma, so first, you must understand that Asthma is a disease of the airways and lungs. Usually when something happens to the individual, It sets off a trigger to have an asthma attack, and when that happens, the airways become swollen and inflamed, and as a result the muscles around the individual airways tightens due to lack of blood circulation and oxygen to the muscles, and only then it becomes difficult to breathe, not only that the mucus starts clogging up the airways.

It can be as a result of could range from a mild cough or wheeze to difficulty breathing. In some cases, breathing may be so difficult that the asthma attack becomes life-threatening.

How you can help your client with Asthma?

First you make sure they see a doctor, and that you have a referral from their doctor.

Second find out when they experience the Asthma, what they do as an activity, ask If they are on medication, how many? or if they have any other health conditions?

Third, ask If he or she is stressed or under pressure?

Four, Find out if the person have pets at home, ( cats hair is not going to help an Asthma )

Fifth, ask if the person is a smoker, If yes, help your client with smoking cessation.....

After you did your homework, start with simple relaxation, suggest deep slow breathing and with each and every breath tell your client that their airways become less and less swollen, and as soon as they allow their entire muscles to become lose and limp,or relaxed, by releasing all stress and worries, or what ever on their mind, suggest that their inflamed area starts to heal instantly with relaxation..

I am sure you get the idea as what you need to do, feel free to ask me more questions if you need more help.

Please let us know, how you handled the session....

Respectfully, Doreen Cohanim C.Ht

Just one by accident. I had a client who came in for a past life regression. He had lived on a small Island with heard of wild horses and had been crushed by them.

Two weeks later he called to thank me because he had not had an asthma attack since that time. He used to have them on a regular basis.

I hope that I am not supposed to be as timely with my response as ya'll were in helping me. No disrespect meant.

As I began to work with my client, the "Asthma" has seemed to be a response to a change in what was going on in life.
Clients' other business had become so hectic and time consuming that they had stopped giving piano lessons and
had stopped singing in a band and a choir. Once client agreed to and began to include singing back into life,
chronic cough and breathing restrictions began to cease.

Thank you for your time to respond to my initial query.
