Business Lessons Learned
From 28 Years Of Hypnotherapy
Discover Roy's Most Important
Lessons He Learned From The
School Of Hands-On Experience!
Dear HypnoThoughts Member,
I've got a very special treat for you this month.
Mr. Roy Hunter!
For most of you, that's probably all I need to say because he's famous for his work in Parts Integration. If you've been in hypnosis very long you probably own one of his books.
But he's also been a successful hypnotherapist, and by successful I mean he's done it as a full time business for over 28 years.
Best part... he's agreed to come on the show and share some of the most important lessons he learned in his 28 years of practice. Or what some would call the university of life.
These are the kind of lessons you learn the hard way, by screwing up and figuring out what went wrong after you clean up the mess.
So listen in and save yourself from making the same costly boneheaded mistakes.
Here's a sample of what Roy will share:

Hi,
After four days offline, I'm back...
First, I would like to thank all who listened to the Teleseminar. Although my "28 Insights" ebook covers 28 topics, I only chose those that most pertained to building a practice.
To those of you who purchased my ebook: thank you for your understanding of the technical problems at The HypnoStore. Any of you who were unable to obtain the download can email me privately and I will send the PDF file of "28 Insights" manually to you. My email is: roy@royhunter.com
I'm happy to answer questions about what was covered at the teleseminar, or about any other chapter in my ebook, "28 Insights from 28 Years of Client Centered Hypnotherapy."
Best wishes,
Roy Hunter
Although slightly off topic, someone emailed me privately regarding an alleged prospective client from overseas sending an email about prepaying for several sessions.
The way the scam works is this: the person sends what looks like a cashier's check, and then asks for a refund becuase he/she changes plans. Then, after the refund is sent, the original check bounces as a fraud.
To find out whether it is a scam, inform said person that you will wait until the check clears the bank before either scheduling any sessions or sending any refunds...or you can ignore the email altogether.
Several people have tried to scam me this way, so I wanted to warn others not to fall for it.

Craig thank you so much for sending the late reminder for this seminar. It was really worthwhile. So much content!
And many thanks to Roy for generously sharing the pitfalls as well as the upside of marketing.
Best,
Linda
Permalink Reply by Sharon Stiles on January 15, 2012 at 10:32pm Thanks for taking the time to do this and for making it available as a replay. I just wish I'd heard it 10 years ago so that I could have avoided wasting so much on ineffective marketing
Sharon.
