Hi,

I am about to start the hypnotherapist school to make some money and establish a career with a college MD to surgeon route. Whats better a NGH Cht, or a CCHT from NEIH? I like the sound of CCHT better than the CHt whats the difference?

Thanks,

Hunter

What's better is that the hypnotherapist has a scooby what they're doing and cares about the clients.
In the field of hypnosis, where a certification is from has little impact. Because certification is a voluntary process, and not a degree, the initials are truly irrelevant. CCHT, Cht, all the same thing. No matter what program you complete you can put any initials you want after your name, even abcdefg..... In fact, right how you can put John Doe, NCH after your name.... (Newly Curious Hypnotist)

What Henxy has said is true. The most important thing is what will you learn in such a program? And who is teaching it? YOu seem to have a financial goal, so who will prepare you best for establishing a practice and being prepared to deal with a wide variety of issues? I would also suggest, that rarely does one take a training program and that is it. Most likely, not matter which program you choose, you will go on to take other trainings, read books, watch DVD's and grow professionally. You will also build relationships with other hypnotists who can direct you with complex cases.

Best of luck in your studies, hypnosis is a great career, with better hours than surgery.... :)

Don't you have one?! ;-P

Scooby = Scooby Doo = Subaru car...or, in this case, a clue!

I.e. has a clue what they're doing!

I like how some one else has said it on another post....the only people who know what those initials symbolize are our Colleagues......so maybe choosing the full words would be more appropriate for the layman/person.......the list of letters after my name would be too much to write and only cause confusion and question in potential clients..
If you want to make money, learn this valuable lesson...

Don't sell hypnosis!

Sell solutions to problems people want solved.

Clients don't give a crap what alphabet soup is behind your name, they only care that you can solve their problem and help them get out of the pain they are experiencing.

Check out my blog post about this here: Don't Sell Hypnosis

And a Hypnothoughts article here: Don't Sell Hypnosis

Also, if you want to be successful in the business of hypnosis, find an instructor who is making money by seeing clients and adds a section on how to setup and run the business as part of your training.

You need to be a competent hypnotist AND you need to have the skills to attract client prospects and convert them to paying clients.

Cheers,

Craig hit the nail on the head. I gave up trading "dollars for hours" a long time ago. Selling solutions is where the success will be found.....

Great articles Craig
