On "Instant Hypnosis" there is a hypnosis-session called: "change your eye color"
I must say that i am a little skeptic about this.

Is this really possible or does the client only believe that his/her eye color has changed?
If it's possible: How is this possible and what is possible (only change in hue or even the color)?

Whats your opinion? Is this possible?

I have seen evidence of eye color change in those that partake in hypnotic trance. Their eyes turn RED. LOL.

I was on another forum where they were adamant they could do this, arguing gene expression.
I didn't hang around long on there, as there were too many aggressive sorts for my liking.
To me, it's a strange thing to want to do.
Hi,

This really would be irrefutable evidence for the sceptics.
There would be no point of statistical experiments!

If such were possible, the whole world would know.

I saw Myth Busters blow that one out of the water. The Answer is NO! (If they are talking about the iris that is).
On Yahoo-Answers someone said that the hue of his Iris has change (got a lot brighter).

Sounds strange to me.

Yeah, i doubt it. They took close up pictures of the iris before and after hypnosis in the same place by an Optometrist on that myth busters show. This was after several hypnosis sessions too. There was ZERO change. Wonder if the person on yahoo was outside or in a brighter light when they "thought" there was some kind of difference. I know my eyes change color, according to what I am wearing (reflection) or am in certain light conditions (only because as my pupil is smaller, so my eye color is lighter). Hypnosis doesn't do it. However, hypnosis could control the pupil to a degree, giving off the illusion of eye color change IMHO.

Yahoo Answers isn't exactly that reputable either. Just anyone answers those. I have seen some good answers there, but for the most part, it's just someone else sharing what they think, regardless if it's fact. If they didn't back with with a source of some kind, showing proof, I think they may have just been hypnotized to "think" there is a difference. LOL
This is somewhat reminiscent of the intriguing reports involving people with multiple personality disorder, that the different personality states have different medical conditions, allergies, eye color etc.
It would be wonderful if one of my personalities didn't have allergies. LOL
It's hard to know for sure. There is evidence that genetic material can change during the course of your life, and physiology can definitely be influenced by hypnosis in other ways. Who knows what else can become possible...
It would be interesting to see what research Instant Hypnosis Have done on this.
Hi Jon + Rick,

Rick, I must thank you for your input.
Challenge and investigation are big driving forces for me.

Your comment on your mother's observations have given me insight.
Thank you.

You have been the first person on hypnothoughts to influence me in such an exciting way.
I am truly grateful for your sharing of this experience.

I will endeavour to research this 'eye-colour' phenomenon
When I have tangible results, I will share them with you.

Unfortunately, with the advent of technology, I am unsure at present how to prevent disbelief in video evidence:
it is too easy for video to be altered.

Jon, I agree.
Evidence of change is always helpful.

Love and respect Neil.
High Tammy.
If the client is hypnotized you can have them believe their eyes changed color.. but have they????LOL
