Content click-per-ad... Anyone heard of Featurelink or Vertical Response?

Ever notice that you get a lot of hangups on your line when you're in session?  The past two days I've been in the office and, unusually, doing paperwork and allowing the phone to ring through.

A few calls from potential clients -- but several from advertising salespeople.

The first was from a product called Featurelink -- you sign up and them promise to put your ad on content pages (for me, they were looking at the HypnobabiesLA.com website, so promised to put me on Parenting pages, etc.). 

I do use google adwords and have a lot of traffic from them -- although I could use more.

Curious if anyone knows about this other company. Found a complaint at rip-off report, and so declined.

Then just a moment ago I got my favorite ad enticement ever..... an opportunity to be listed on the back of a card distributed through a chain restaurant, as the "exclusive" provider for Stop Smoking or Weight Loss services.  Personally, I don't want to be the discount hypnotist -- but for me, aside from the irony of marketing weight loss services at a restaurant (!) the kicker was the specific chain....

The (female) saleswoman said she completely understood and didn't even try to change my mind.

But just in case someone out there wants the opportunity, I have the number to call if you want to be the Hooters Hypnotist.
