Concepts so far are on page 2 of this discussion

HypnoThoughts member and friend Alan Barsky recently let me know that he has procured us a merchandise production company that will give us a great deal on shirts for the members here. Now all we have to do is figure out what we want on them!

You can come up with whatever you want: T-shirt, polo shirt, sweatshirt, coffee mug, stickers, temporary tattoos, etc. and play with whatever branding you want. You can use the logo from the home page banner or make something original. Make it as professional or casual as you want it.

The winner will receive a free shirt of their design as well as a ticket to the Global Hypnosis eSummit. This means the winner is getting about $150 worth of free stuff.

So break out your crayons and thinking caps and email your concepts to me ASAP by sending them to Scott@GOhypnotherapy.com (don't upload them here please).

I will post the best submissions to the site for voting once we get closer.

I'm looking forward to seeing what you guys can come up with.

-Scott

Doreen, you use a graphics editing program on your computer and come up with a design to fit on a t-shirt, a coffee mug, a polo shirt, whatever. Cafepress.com has some templates available for download if you need a guide for the size of the graphics and such. You can use the existing logo, etc. here (ie; the banner at the top of every page) if you want or come up with your own design for use on the shirt.

Everything comes out of your own imagination and creativity. ;) Then you email the finished image to Scott so he can put them up for voting when he's ready.

Thanks Joshua,

I am not so good with graphics editing program, how do I even find it?

Doreen
go and download gimp. Its a free graphics editing program. You can find it for windows, os x, and linux.

Thanks about just about giving up, but I will see if I can do this...

Doreen
You know what would be helpful...
Is to know what words people would like to see under the logo/picture.
do you want hypnothoughts.com?
Or something to do with hypnosis?
A saying?
A slogan?
etc. etc.
Or no words at all?
Thanks,
D.
UPDATE!

here are some of my favorite concepts I've received so far. Give some feedback and let tell us what you like, what you want changed, or whatever moves you.

More to come...
Here are some more...

I like "Talking Bubble" the bottom one. Clean, modern, simple, effective.
Hi Scott...

Several REALLY GREAT DESIGNS! I really like the one with the multiple bubbles just above Hypnothoughts.com on the black background, and the one right below it...the clear bubble with the yellow circle inside and purple line coming out of it. I think I like the second one better, but I like the font for "HypnoThoughts.com on the first better. Perhaps a combination of the two???

I know it might be tough, but I'd like to see the logo offered on a variety of shirts to start...I would love to see it available on a short-sleeve and long-sleeve polo shirt (for the professional look), and also on a short-sleeve and long sleeve t-shirt (for the casual look). Possibly offered initially in only two color shirts (backgrounds)...black and white. And then later expansion to other colors. Ultimately, the logo could be featured on coffee mugs or other items. I'm sure many members (such as myself), would buy multiple items...at least one of each perhaps. It would be a great way to spread our message to the public, as well as interest people in striking up conversations about out chosen profession, hobby, or in some cases...OBSESSION!

Nevertheless...GREAT JOB with the site! I predict AWESOME GROWTH and LIFETIME FRIENDSHIPS made through HypoThoughts.com. Thanks for your GREAT WORK and CONTRIBUTION to this WONDERFUL WORLD OF HYPNOSIS!!!
Okay... for me, maybe this topic has been too broad. Maybe it needs to be narrowed down into - what is the purpose of the picture on the t-shirt. I originally thought it was to 'get attention' - inspire questions, maybe.
Advertise...
Not sure what everyone wants - when they advertise. Some people like direct suggestion: ie: www.hypnothoughts.com and some people like to see something and wonder...what is that? so they ask.

I'll go out on a limb here and tell you what I think...

I like a few (most especially MINE ~evil grin)...but I am not convinced the right one has shown up yet.
Many of these graphic pictures are great for coffee cups, but not t-shirts or polo shirts.
I would hate to have a busy picture/photo on my t-shirt. But again...that is just my opinion.
I want clean.
I want simple.
I want...
I want...
clean.. ~grin.
Many of these have WAY too much information for a polo shirt. IMHO.
And my t-shirt printer guy would go BERZERKO...like, FLIP his lid, if I turned into him the multy color, stuff. But then, he is a screen printer. He isn't the copy on a printer and iron it on type. So...there is that.
I like screen printed t-shirts. They are... clean. lol
However, with a screen printer, you can't have a million colors or you are going to be paying out the kazoo. Seriously.
2 to 4 colors...great. Blending = bad. Transparent = bad.
Again...this is if you use a screen printer.
It is just good to know information when trying to draw up a t-shirt picture.

I suppose I should ask...what kind of printer is doing this job???

It is interesting that no one is commenting.
Say what you like - let us move this forward a notch...

~silence~

~crickets~
I say use them all. I like everyones ideas.

Bruce
I would like everyone to see this
