I understand the basics of which places are best for hypnosis, that peace and quiet are desireable but not necessary, but what about other things? Which places (based on other factors) are most conducive to good hypnosis?

learn to do hypnosis anywhere (provided that it's safe of course) and then you'll find yourself a lot for skilled than if you were do only do it in 'easy' environments.
Just my opinion, in that i don't think it really matters too much where you are, although privacy is obviously important if you want to do personal therapy, and quiet is often a big help, but as long as its safe i don't think there are too many places which are not conducive to good hypnosis, it's how you utilize them that counts.

It's funny. I've read several books with discussions of what a hypnotists office should be like in order to facilitate hypnosis, and then I've done powerful work under the very worst conditions according to all the books.
Hypnosis can be done anywhere that the person feels confortable.
Hypnosis is done at fairs, outside at parks and even in crowded areas where noise should not be a concern.
