HypnoThoughts.com

the Free Hypnosis Social Network

What is your story?

Hypnothoughts came to me randomly out of the blue while researching on line.  I came on board and have been with happy thoughts ever since.

How did you first find this community?
Were you invited online?
Did someone tell you in person?

What's the scoop?

I think I saw a reference to it on, uh, let's see... well, someone's website. Can't remember whose. I didn't like the interface (still don't), but there are interesting people here. That sold me.
Jan, you would have preferred the original HypnoThoughts. It was a SMF based forum. You seem like the type that prefers that type of discussion board. I found that, for whatever reason, more people preferred this platform. The feedback I got was a generally friendlier, less intimidating site since there are more pictures than simple machines uses.

amiright?

I'm looking forward to getting more feedback on this topic. There are still thousands of hypnotists out there who don't know about this site. In fact, I met a few this month. Let's find ways to continue to spread the word and get people engaged in this hypnosis community.

By the way, Scott, how did you find out about HypnoThoughts? ;)

(I'm not a particularly big fan of SMF either. I'm hard to please, anyway.)
I go way back to somewhere around the first 6 months of HypnoThoughts. I found it by just Googling different topics on hypnosis. I knew right away that this was going to be a place to be and a place to learn.
I believe I was searching a particular topic and stumbled upon a post in HypnoThoughts.com. I joined, but wasn't very active for nearly a year. Later I re-discovered it and dove right in!

The water is great.

For me it was either a google search or a post on the Magic Cafe.
A contact of mine had a link to HT on their face-book.
I followed the link and have gladly been part of this community ever since.
Back here in the Netherlands I have sought this kind of contact with colleagues, but have only found some individuals who have been willing to "network".
I'm glad to be a part of this, and glad for the contact with the wonderful people
I've met over this medium.

Thank you Scott, et all!
Infinity Institute lets all their students know about hypnothoughts. I did not look into it right away, but when I did, I found it very interesting and the people here are just great!
As I recall I received an email (somehow connected with IMDHA) letting me know that Hypnothoughts existed.
My guess is that was early on, however, I think there were well over 1,000 members at that point already.

I called Scott one day when HT was just a newborn baby and said; "What are you up to man, wanna come down and speak to The San Diego Hypnosis & NLP Network on marketing to Doctors and Dentists?" and he said; "Sure, hey have you checked out Hypnothoughts yet?"

I said; "I'll get on it and promote it to the group", and the rest is history...
Scott personally invited me to visit his new website for people who were interested in hypnosis several times before I finally got around to checking it out - I felt it was the best hypnosis resource that I had ever seen and joined the community...

Great job- Scotty!
I was speaking to a metaphysics group one night, made the statement that a times its hard to find those who we may share a common point of view, afterwards a member came up to me and told me about HT , and that I should check it out
Sure glad I did, I have found a lot of very wonderful, free thinking people here, and that is something hard to find!!
