Hey Robert,

Welcome to hypnothoughts community.

You will often find that if you have a question, or want info on a perticular topic, that it has been discusssed before, (sometimes many times over.)

You can alway try doing a search within the discussion thread, putting in any key words that come to mind.

I have just searched "Gastric Band" and came up with this discussion thread from fairly recently.

There are over 100 practitioners using my method and the earliest practitioners are achieving success rates of between 60 and 90%

If I am not mistaken, John's system is the one that Craig Eubanks highlighted in the marketing group several months ago. If that is the one... It is not just a simple script and it involves the use of a number of "externals" to convince the client they have had an actual gastric band in place. There was an article that Craig referanced that contained a great deal of information.

Hi John
Is it possible to pm me please about this, Im extremely interested as Im training in Clinical Hypnotherapy at the moment, but loads of people are asking me about the gastric band! Im have no interest in practising this until Im fully qualified, but I have been noticing online that you have to be licenced in Hypno band! Is this a different qualification from my clinical Hypnotherapy? and where do I train to get the license?

In my experience it takes more than one session:

1. pre talk and test for hypnosis levels, told to keep a food diary, not smoke before surgery and go over the prep in their mind

2. the "surgery date"

3. follow up and suggestions for exercising

4. Another follow up

PS I am seeing clients quietly - I don't want the Min of Health getting over-zealous here!

For my part I find the process to be very effective. I am a big fan of using it when I have a client who decides to go down that route.
