HypnoThoughts.com

the Free Hypnosis Social Network

I am sure many People are aware of Google Wave. It is Googles new communication and collaboration tool. I have just been looking at what it can do and it is pretty amazing. I thought it may be a good thing for members of. this site. If anyone wants to know more about it at:

http://wave.google.com/help/wave/about.html

It is still in a development stage and you can request an invite. I am already a member and have been given eight invites like all other members. I am willing to give three of these to members of this site. If you want one send me a message and I will send out the invites. I ask you to do one thing, give three invites to members of this site.

So if you get one of my invites add a post here letting people know you are giving your three invites. If everyone getting an invite does this with three of their invites we can give members of this site one of these sought after memberships.

We Cant make people give their invites away and so this is about trust and supporting our fellow members.

I am also interested in your thiought on doing this.

Hi Nick - I requested an invite from Google earlier this morning - haven't heard back from them yet. Roger
Hi Nic,

As you have asked,
I am willing to share my thoughts on doing this.

Putting aside, whatever the product is, or what it might do...

I am wondering in what way, your offer of giving invites,
and encouraging others to do the same,
is different from a chain letter scheme,
or a pyramid selling scheme.
Promoting the product,
(whether or not there is a cost for it)

Am I just being cynical?

Love and hugs,

Fable
Hi Fable,

The difference I see to chain letter is they are usually threatening and say you will have bad things happen to you if you do not partake a pyramid selling scheme offers reward for passing on sales down the pyramid. I do not see a connection. Google always use the invite scheme to start their programs. They did the same with gmail. The post was done with the best interests of members at art. The invites are difficult to come by unless you have a friend who has one, I wanted to try and help fellow members. The invites are limited to 8 per member,if it was infinite I would give them away freely. This way is the only way I could see that large numbers of members could get an invite quickly. There is no ulterior marketing motive.

Thanks Nic,

That answers my question.

And (from previous posts I have seen of yours),
I had no doubts, hat your motives were good.

I would love an invite, I am always looking for technology that can be used to communicate in the hypnosis world, and would freely help you find others from this site who would put it to use....
I will take one if there are any left.

Thanks,

Yesterday I just received my Google Wave invitation :)

Now, I can invite you to join.

Why don't you send me your email address so I can send you an invitation. (Send it by Private Message)

I've got 8 invitations yet.

Jesus
I would love an invite...

Thanks Doreen Cohanim C.Ht
I repeat. I need an email to send you my Google Wave invites.

Here you can see a screenshot of my invites wave: http://img194.imageshack.us/img194/8023/xxxou.jpg

Nic, thanks for the invite. I signed up and looked it over. Like most things google it's impressive but a work in progress. We'll have to see how it develops. I also signed up for one of the first websites using google wave that has video conferencing, www.6rounds.com. I'll be interested in seeing how it works.

I'm also a software developer working on some of the special requirements for practitioners and clients working on line. I'm very interested in collaborating with other people in collecting Use Cases and and I have a Use Case Form that you can use as a starting point. http://docs.google.com/View?id=dd76cw26_53gqr6wbmj

Have fun!
