I spoke to someone who told me that they went to a hypnotherapist and had a 5 hour session to stop smoking and it worked great. Has anyone ever had a 5 hour stop smoking session.
Typically I conduct longer sessions for clients who drive greater distances and want it all in one day. My longest session ever ended up being five hours for a client who drove over 12 hours (each way) to have me assist with a variety of concerns. We initially scheduled two 2-hour sessions and ended up continuing without the scheduled break in between.
My longest non-stop smoking cessation from start to finish is only 3-hours though. Five hours does seem like a long time, however it could happen if the client wanted to get to the source of their presenting issues and also had some challenge getting into state. Another issue may have required clearing energy.
Getting everything handled in one session requires more training than a basic course in hypnosis. There is much to learn. Keep studying and refining your skills. On the other hand, a newbie might take that long if unskilled, yet lasting results is king.
