HypnoThoughts.com

the Free Hypnosis Social Network

This is a brief message designed to point out the obvious.  I think the site has been, from a social perspective, working so well lately that it's been invisible.  You guys are playing together well, helping each other, and respecting each other in a way that doesn't often happen on the internet.

So this message is a thank you.

This site hasn't always, and won't always, run this smoothly.  I don't think it's been this cooperative in a few years.  No matter how hard the moderators work, it's ultimately up to you guys to respect each other and approach each other from a sincere place of wanting to help.

This is so cool to see, and ironically, easy to miss.  When the site is working like it's supposed to, most people (in a good way) take it for granted.  It just works.

We are quickly approaching 10,000 members, which I'm really excited about.  But it's not about the quantity of members, it's about the quality of the interactions on here.  I honestly think that this is the best hypnosis site on the web, and that's because of you guys.  This is the most diverse group of people from the widest ranges of experience, training, interests, and applications of hypnosis.  If this group can cooperate this well, it says a lot of good things about the potential for our industry to start working together.

The moderators have had a really easy time lately.  Almost everyone is following the rules and playing nicely with each other.  You don't know how much we appreciate that.

So again, thank you to all of you for making this site a community.  Thank you for helping the people with questions, thank you for listening without getting defensive, thank you for reading, and thank you for sharing this information and site with your friends.

There are still thousands of hypnotists who have never heard of this site.  Please, start posting links to interesting conversations on facebook.  When you talk to colleagues, mention this site.  Above all else, keep this attitude of service and cooperation and let's keep helping each other.

Respectfully,

Scott

Good call, it's easy to shout/delete posts/moan when its all going wrong, and so it is refreshing to read a post like yours when things are running smoothly as we can and often do take this for granted. Keep up the good work and well done everyone for constructive posts, makes being a member of a forum like this all the more enjoyable and educational.

Thanks Scott for doing the work to start this site.

I know it takes a lot of time and effort on someone's part (in this case you) to get the ball rolling.

Thank you to all the members, those that help this site run smoothly and the members that post the comments. I am new to this site and I must say that I have taken it for granted of how easy going and how informative everyone is towards each other. I just assumed that this is how this site operated, respectful, and honorable sharing the knowledge and information of one's own experiences as a hypnotist. In the short period of time since I joined this site I have been very fortunate in obtaining some valuable information from all of you. So Thank you for sharing ........Namaste

Scott,

I am glad to participate, now. I've been recommending this social network site to several people. Keep up the great work.

Hi Scott,

That's the best graphic image I have ever seen for anything in this field. Brilliant.

Aloha Scott,

Kudos on building an amazing place.  I am new here and am so impressed by everything I've encountered so far - including people who instantly asked me to be their friend - what a wonderful welcome!  As a new hypnotherapist, I am really excited about the way the people with experience share, gently correct, advise, and lead.  I've found so many different ideas that I have been incorporating into my sessions!

The biggest brotherhood in the web, thanks to your efforts and those behind the making of HypnoThoughts.

By the way, what an amazing picture, where did you get it?

Scott,

You set the standard for the level of mature interaction on this site, so give yourself a big pat on the back for having such a great vision that helps so many people....not only the "hypno professionals", but all our clients who benefit from out expanded skill sets because of what you created.

Hello Scott,

Congratulations to you for drawing in the professionals.  This is probably the only forum that I believe one can have an idea or a suggestion that is taken and fattened up by other's ideas and experiences.  I love the way conversations flow from one subject to another and as a relatively new hypnotherapist, I am learning so much.

Kindest regards

Sally Spiewakowski

Scott,

Thanks for making Hypnothoughts a great hypnosis community!  Keep up the great job.

As usual, Scott, your observations synchronize with something that has been on my mind a lot lately.  In our field we are often witness to profound changes in our client’s lives, health, etc., that seem to manifest so naturally and seamlessly that they sometimes aren’t immediately recognized.  I tell my hypnosis students that a phrase they will hear often from their clients begins with, “I don’t know if it has anything to do with what we’ve been doing here, but…….”, followed by an announcement of some enormous transformation that has taken place.  With your vision and leadership, this site has attracted people dedicated to growth and learning and sharing, and I applaud you.

First of all, thank you very much for the clarity of your statements about this website.  I am relatively new to the website, and I have found that everyone I have been in touch with has been very courteous, kind and serious about this profession that continues to grow.

Thanks, again, for reaching out,

Kind regards,
