Scott asked me to initiate a discussion on ideas for helping HT grow and allowing Scott realize his dreams for what he has created.  In this spirit I am interested in your opinions of what you would do if you were Scott.  Essentially where do you see opportunity.

Please keep in mind that some of the things Scott has planned have very real costs associated with them, far beyond what he can fund himself so a revenue/monetizing component is likely part of this discussion.    I don't believe he cares what it looks like as long as it allows him the leverage he needs and is low on politics.

There are no wrong answers aside from sitting back and not getting involved....

thanks - bob

So I am a little confused. Are we letting you know where HT should go next in our opinion or are we letting you know what we think will allow Scott to realize his dreams?

All of the above... In your mind what should HT do to grow, build strength and prosper while letting Scott live his dreams/vision for HT.  Hope that helps... -bob

LOL  A quick glance read "Helping HT growl."  Aside from the chuckle, don't we first need to know what Scott's dreams are?

Kindest regards,

Michelle

PS IS there a "Proud Member of Hypnothoughts" button we can place on our websites, blogs, Facebook, etc?

Or another type of affiliate button for either the site or HPTI? Or the HypnoStore? Or if some sold only in the HypnoStore their sales are brought here with a noticeable link back to HT within the store?

It would seem us being able to promote the school would be a very big help (since so many of us here already are trained from multiple sources out the wazoo). Bringing in new blood would be a most efficient benefit.

Also, I do not know the logistics or problems this idea would cause, but what about offering a few of the HPTI modules as free-standing courses for already credentialed members?  Such as: Critical thinking,  Regression to Cause/Parts Therapy, Psychopharmacology/Neurology, etc and maybe a few others?  I know I'd love to learn Regression to Cause/Parts Therapy from Roy Hunter, but RL has always interfered with my attending one of his workshops and with him being semi-retired...

Hi Michelle-

I used to have a "HypnoThoughts badge" that people could put on their sites, etc.  After 4 years I think 3 people used it.

An affiliate link for the school is a great idea that we are figuring out.  We will also be offering individual courses for people who don't want to take the entire curriculum.  That is coming ASAP.

As for my vision and goals for the site, that will have to wait for another time, since I don't have enough time at the moment to write it all down here.

Thanks for your interest though,

Scott

Hopefully "Regression to Cause" will get changed to "Outcome Based Hypnotherapy" to be both broader and fit into moder thinking and research...

Thanks for the reply, Scott, and I will keep my eyes open for any future comments. I haven't been around here much the last two years or so and am awed at all you have accomplished since I first joined in '08!

Whatever the name becomes, Richard, if Mr Hunter is involved, I want in! lol  I periodically take classes from or buy educational CDs of my esteemed colleagues. There is always something different that I can pick up from others. I'm an education junkie. ; )

Richard, I am confused. are you talking about parts therapy up above being renamed? (cuz I was and I am listening now to your 'outcome based treatment' webinar in the groups) Thank you.
