Any suggestions?
Grateful for suggestions on this topic how we all can help one another in moving hypnosis/hypnotherapy to greater "top awareness" throughout the general public.

Can you imagine if a Super Bowl commercial featured a Super Bowl Player in hypnosis preparing for the game? That of course is the extreme costly end. Can you imagine seeing a hypnosis ad. in a golf magazine with the prominence of a Viagra ad offering a viable solution to sexual shortcomings as it were? Hell we can even help your wife like it!
We all pay some organization, some amount of money. These organizations should be using some of this money to market the profession ( I am not discounting our monthly newsletters). It's not like we don't have the goods to persuade, we are the authority. I am in the NGH for example but would jump ship in a heartbeat to an organization that used its resources to promote the field on a grand, organized and directed scale.Or they can combine resources.
We are an industry that offers a marketable service. Market the industry and sell the service!

Great John, that is "sweet 'n simple" as it should be. That is of course the right direction that you are moving in. How can we accomplish this on a greater scale though?
That is the strive and question I am raising here.
How several creative minds together can communicate this even further & on a larger scale.

I think that with better training and regulation, hypnotherapy will be moved in to a more acceptable place in society. I have heard terrible stories from clients such as:
- reading directly from scripts (and sometimes not even tailored to the client's needs)
- not using the client's frame of reference
- texting on their phone during a session!
- using an over dramatic and strange voice
- not able to enter into the client's world
- relying too much on giving positive suggestions and relaxation hypnosis rather than working what's beneath the symptoms.
