Hello everone,

Does anybody know how to heal chronic hives with hypnosis?

What words should I use during the Direct Suggestion part of a hypnosis session?

Could someone share some of the techniques that you are using or some experiences when treating chronic hives (or any skin disorders)?

Lots of people here in China are suffering from chronic hives. It would be great if I could help.

By the way, referral is no problem, and any suggestions are welcome here.

Thanks in advance.

Nie Teng

P.S. If there are any errors in the grammers or words that I am using, please forgive me, haha.

hi,

There are many causes of hives and I think these need to be ruled out before you try hypnosis.

the most common cause of cause of acute hives, especially in children is a viral infection.

Allergic reactions are also high on the list of causes. These can be food allergies or environmental, or medicinal allergies

Chronic infections such as viral hepatitis, sinus infections, and urinary tract infecions can cause hives.

Once you have ruled the above out then stress can be a cause and this is where hypnosis comes in.

One of the best general scripts that will reduce stress is hartland's ego strengthening script. I pretty always use this is first sessions with clients with health related issues. I have it on CD and have the client listen to it once a day.

Other imagery in subsequent sessions would be to imagine spreading a healing salve over the area, or healing shower etc.

hope this helps

Hi,

You can help!

When hives are the result of an allergic reaction, it is possible to retrain the immune system regarding that response ~  with suggestions and imagery of reversing the mast cell activity which causes histamine to be released. Histamine causes the capillaries (small blood vessels in the body) to become leaky. The escaping fluids become trapped under the skin causing swelling and itching.

A chronic case might require not only avoidance of the trigger substance, but a course of daily self-hypnosis such as Barry mentioned. Consider influences of stress, mental states, food and drink, environmental toxins and physical activity, all of which can alter the immune response!

If I were to use direct suggestions, I would have them visiualize themselves feeling good and free from hives. Ask before session, how would you feel without hives and use their wording into the session. I would flat out suggest your skin is looking great, smooth and attractive. Try to avoid negative suggestions, focus on what the client desires and structurd your suggestions in a winning way. Hope this helps

Just read the first few pages...whoa!
