Is anyone out there using EFT (or any other form of meridian tapping) in conjunction with hypnosis? If so, how is it working for you?

Sharon, I'd like to find out more about Chinosis. Where can I find some credible information on it?

I teach most of my clients how to use Chinosis (similar principles to EFT) in the first session. I use it as a self hypnosis technique that will back up what we have done in the session. I tend to do it at the very beginning so it gives ther person confidence that the change they notice is as a result of what they have done and not dependant on me. That means they are more likely to use it. It has the advantage that thye can use it anywhere and don't have to find somewhere quiet to listen to a CD.

It also has a benefit with smokers, physical habits and issues that are triggered by boredom because it gives people something physical to do.
I often use a form of Accelerated Information Processing - tapping on the back of the hands - not on meridian points - just to get the bilateral stimulation as the client focusses internally on their problem/anxiety (PTSD, Anxiety Disorder etc) then 'drop' them into a pretty deep hypnotic state, very easily, to reinforce the change that has occurred - a lot of similarities to EMDR.

Very rapid change can be achieved too with this - depending on the age/background etc I often refer to it as 'weird shit' because that is what every client says when they come out of trance!
