I have a person who wants me to hypnotize them to increase their sexual desire. The person cannot orgasm during sex and has asked for hypnosis. Has anyone dealt with this kind of request before?

I do record all my sessions and good advice thank you regarding the relaxation approach to assist with the possible control issue.
Amy,
This was an initial request so before I launched into a session with her I want to ensure I have the right approach. I do not have the answers to your questions yet but I will follow up and ask her before our first session

i have had several females clients who claimed they had never had an orgasm and it turned out that they had but.... they didn't equate what they had with the nonsense they had heard from other girls in their teens. One of them had heard other girls describing an orgasm as this earth moving, seeing stars, room spinning, blah, blah event using a lot of visual predicates that this poor girl thought well I never experience any thing like that so that must mean I can't orgasm. As I recall the other womans situation was similar and was compounded by one of her first lovers comments.
You can regress to the cause. You can use something like time line therapy and ask the question, "Let's play a game where we create everything that happens to us...(ok) when did you decide that it wasn't ok to orgasm, what's the root cause of this decision, the first event which when disconnected will alllow you to orgasm easily, without trying?
was it before, during or after your birth?

Permalink Reply by Michael Burch on February 14, 2012 at 4:19pm I work with a Pain Management Clinic several times a month. More than a few of the clients, both male and female have had this problem. I have several scripts that Dr. Paul Durbin gave me. He is with the Louisiana Hypnosis Association. I have had great success using them. If you need copies of the scripts, just let me know and I will be glad to share with you, as someone shared with me.
