I am finding that Hypnosis is Amazing with improving academic performance. I am currently working on a program to improve academic performance in high schoolers. I have my first test subject already on the program and he is giving me wonderful feedback. In fact, he's noticing such an improvement with his memory and study skills that he is now being proactive in making future appointments with me, whereas before I had to constantly hound him for the next appointment.

I've also hypnotized an older woman who had gone back to school to study music and get back into playing with other people in a band. She was always forgetting the next block of music, or the chords, or the words to the song. She was also having a hard time with the school work. After 2 sessions she no longer had any problems with anything regarding her classes, or the music she was to learn for her sessions with her band.
I had hypnotherapy for an issue I have had since high school, I used to get so stressed out that recall was really affected.

I recently sat my first clinical hypnosis examination and failed. this was my first written exam since high school and it

reinforced that I was no good at exams. My husband sent me to a spa for our anniversary a few months before my exam

resit and I took the opportunity to have a session with a qualified hypnotherapist. I felt really calm during the exam.

Another student got really upset and walked out. it made me feel upset too but I took some deep breaths and was able to

get back into it. I still got nervous for the practical though so I need to work on that.

I know I passed my practical exam but I have to wait until December to find out if I Passed the two written exams .
HI KERRY I would be interested in the results you get as I work with young people with emotional behavioural disorders, ODD, ADD/ADHD, Autism etc and they have could have been out of school for several years by the time they get referred to us . I want to help them realise that they are in charge of their own learning and give them every tool they can possible use.

The answer to your question is a resounding, YES!"

I have worked with students of different ages who sought help in achieving better retention and test scores. Whether a subject is applying the techniques during the input stage or the regurgitation phase, it comes down to better focus and comprehension, and then access of stored information. When you accept that all that you have ever observed, heard, read or experienced is retained in the subconscious, you also begin to realize that you can tap that vast storage at will.
Another important component is the fostering of self-belief and confidence that helps a subject relax and let that desired information come forth. How many people believe they are inept at academic skills, or the arts, or personal relationships? We are mostly born equal, with certain abilities innate, and it's a matter of re-connecting with these abilities. A good hypnotist can help a subject discover these wonders about oneself!

Best wishes,

Kelley
The information provided by all of you are highly appriciated. Thanks to all for your guidance and support.
A lot of things are caused by stress and/or anxiety. Get rid of that monster and BAM!

Very cool, Mark. You have reminded me to keep in mind not only my client's learning styles, but my own! Thanks for the creative ideas...

Kerry and everyone else here. I may have some ideas that will spark more of your own ideas. I run a 1 day accelerated learning workshop in sydney Australia.

I have used hypnosis and other methods to help me learn hypnosis and other esoteric studies over many years with greart results.

I like to combine other modalities with hypnosis in this situation.

Here are some areas which can really assist with learning and memory.

educational kinesiology
muscle testing
body talk
NLP
of course accellerated leanring methods. Check colin roses material.

In hypnosis you may like to consider these things
- time distortion
- hyperesthesia
- automatic writing or ideomotor signalling
- hyperesthesia

I had intended to create a part two of my course and I would use very much hypnotic phenomenon as a way to really enhance the results. This is still a thought in my mind and it may happen. I also have considered filming the training. It really works wonders when applied.

The list is really endless of what you could apply to an area like study and memory.

Hope this has sparked some creative ideas inside your mind.
I have a friend who comes to me for test anxiety and recall. I'm not a therapist, but she was a friend in need (she'd already failed her course twice!) , so I decided to do what I could for her.
It worked. She swears by it. She comes to me for a refresher before finals now. She has other classmates going to a hypnotherapist now, because I told her no when she asked if i could help them. She's started doing self-hypnosis. She has passed all of her exams with high marks since the first session with me.

So yes it works. :)
Can you send me script for time distortion technique because I have never done it before. It is fine if you explain me in details. You can personally mail me.
