the Free Hypnosis Social Network
Hello All-
I am completing a grant with a hospital looking at the effectiveness of using hypnosis in lieu of sedation for closed MRI. To finish the project, I need to identify how the hospital can bill for such services in the future.
Rather than reinventing the wheel, I would like to contact several hospitals that have hypnosis as a service and are currently billing insurnaces and Medicare.
I am striking out. I have serached the web, called IMDHA and contacted several other hypnotherapists. If any of you can identify hospitals in the US that have a hypnotherapist on staff and bill for their services, could you please let me know?
Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure how they bill. Excellent hypnotherapist Alena Guest was the first to affiliate with the hospital and may have some information. I'm sure she'd be happy to help....

He is a Chaplain and certified hypnotheapist, I believe he is now retired, but worked doing hypnotherapy for a number of years in a methodist hospital. He has an interesting background. I am sure he would have good information for you. Good luck in your endeavor.
