As I was writing a reply to Kevin's discussion it dawned on me that I should create my own. So, here's my question: What movies, music, art work, etc... (Any thing from the "Arts") do you enjoy, or even recommend? I'm just going to create a few lists here.

Movies
1.Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
2. A Clockwork Orange
3. The Wizard of Oz with Darkside of the Moon
4. The Cell w/ Jennifer Lopez
5. Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

Music
1. Anything Pink Floyd Mainly Darkside
2. Tranceport by Paul Oakenfold
3.The Notorious BIG Yres, Biggie is on my list. When I hear him rhyme I am immediatlely put into a trance. His voice, lyrics and rhyming abilities get me everytime.
4. Say it Right by Nelly Furtado
5. Amber by 311

Books
1. Fight Club That book had me tranced from the first page
2. Alice in Wonderland Need I even explain?
3. The Rules of Attraction by Bret Easton Ellis
4. Twilight by Stephenie Meyer Yes, Twilight. Great book and had me tranced all the way through the final book of the series.
5.Frogs into Princes by Richard Bandler Need I explain?

This is just a little start for everyone. I'll add more later.

Ahh, I've seen that one. I was trying to think of it earlier and couldn't remember the name. Thanks. Here is some artists I consider to have some hypnotic elements to it. Although I think all art is a bit hypnotic.

1.Dali
2.Ecsher
3.Warhol

Can anyone think of some more?

Was doing some research and found this!

Vishal Vaid's hypnotic song

Here is something interesting... during the song Vishal keeps repeating the same words over, and over, and over, and over...

the basic form of mind control is "Repetition"

In Ericksonian hypnosis, we talk about ways to bypass the critical factor and one way is to repeat things or say things that are true... In the sales world they call it a "Yes Set". Have you ever done something over and over and over and over...but that one time its different it gets by you or you just freeze up and dont know what to do?

Kinda reminds me of the "Handshake Interrupt"...haha

see....hypnosis is everywhere...strange :P

I love a yes set. And I'm sure you understand the use of a yes set in the seduction world. I've used a yes set in nightclubs. "This place is cool." Yes "Good Music" Yes "Good drinks" Yes "Kiss me" Yes... She agrees, but then it just interrupts her train of thought and in that little window I have I kiss her or just snap her back out of it... Anticipation. I've had alot of that starry eyed kind of look after doing a yes set. This is just a rough outline, but you get the idea.

Wow, kinda got way off topic there. However, the hypnotic elements in the seduction/attraction world are just about limitless.

Here's another book that I find very hypnotic: A dictionary. Pick up a dictionary and start to read definitions. I gurantee that 5, 10, 15 minutes go by before you realize that you've read a bunch of new definitons.

And this site. I constantly find myself signing in, then looking at the clock and two hours have gone by... Weird! But great fun!
