Hypnosis or NLP w/ Mental Retardation
I did a search on here for something about mental retardation and what came up was some about autisim.......I wonder would hypnosis aid in behavior modification for an MR or would NLP help etc...just a inquiry. I have no intent or client at this time who suffers from MR....

It also relates to the comprehension the client has. I use the language skills they present with and I never assume they totally understand what I am saying. i.e. "Does that make sense to you?" "Do you understand what I am saying?" "What do you think I mean by that?" Getting continual feedback from the client in the early part of the session soon gives us an idea of how to conduct the session.
