Johnnie,
I don't have a research article per se, but I did conduct hypnosis research for over a year, and wrote an e-book about the journey and my findings. It pertains to mapping the hypnosis/trance mechanism, and how the mind works in reference to hypnosis. The how and why we can be hypnotized and what trance really is, and the data that supports my conclusions.

I don't know if you would be interested, but I figured I would let you know about it.
