Hypnosis training that changed your life ... who was it?

I have been a student of hypnosis for 20 years, even though I have only been a professional for four years. I thought I was pretty knowledgeable on almost every subject, but I had an experience last weekend that completely knocked me back.

I attended a training class on Regression and Parts Therapy taught by Roy Hunter here in Atlanta. The class was well structured and Roy did a great job of teaching the subject. He even made us role play with him over and over and over and he was quick to slap our hands when we made errors.

It was a LONG weekend, but I came away thinking I had really learned more about parts therapy than I ever had before. It went so far beyond the training I received to get certified it wasn't even funny. But would it work for me like Roy said it would?

Fast forward to now. This week, I led 2 clients, my wife and an acquaintance through the parts therapy process as laid out by Mr. Hunter. Every one of them felt that profound changes had been made. One of my clients gave me a sizable tip because she felt that she had finally come to the reasons why she was doing what she was doing in her life and now had the tools to change. Prior to this, she spent 5 years in therapy and she said this session "changed her life!"

The acquaintance was having trouble losing weight. He called me yesterday to say that for some reason he is getting up and exercising now and eating right and he knows it's because of what he learned in the parts therapy session. He says it's easy and he doesn't believe it! But he is "unanimous" about being healthy now. Suggestion alone never gave me these results!

It's an amazing therapy. It really is. and I've heard of others teaching it, but I'm glad I learned it from Roy Hunter who is the protégé and successor of Charles Tebbetts, the man who invented parts therapy.

I really feel that this training changed not only my life, but the lives of my clients as it gave me the tools I needed to really evoke change in them. Even though I have trained with many, the only other time this happened is when I learned from Gerald Kein – who is a master as well. Gerald Kein made hypnosis make sense and gave me the ability to use it to help people.

I'm wondering if this has happened to you as well?

Have you received training that blew you away? That gave you tools that you might have heard about but didn't realize were so immensely powerful?

Who was the teacher?

There are many teachers, but I think we need to call out the great ones. I'd like to know who they are because I want to learn from the best.

I'm calling out Roy Hunter as the premier Parts Therapy and Age Regression teacher. What other Teachers deserve the nod? I want to learn from them!

P.S. If you want to learn more about Roy Hunter, he has a website at: http://royhunter.com/ he is also teaching at the IMDHA conference http://imdha.com/conference.php.

You can find information about Gerald Kein at his website: http://omnihypnosis.com/

Thanks in advance for your reply!

Dear Michael,

Thanks for the tip. I am just about to dive into the hypnosummit library again this afternoon and had earmarked Roy Hunter's session on parts therapy but there's so much else I want to look at, I was doubting I'd have time. I was wondering what to prioritise, but you have persuaded me. Isn't it funny how these little messages just drop into our inboxes at just the right moment to make a difference?

Glad the training worked so well for you.

Thanks,
Fiona
Hello Michael,

Glad you joined us for this incredible training. There is even more to come! You have just gotten introduced to the rudiments of Parts Therapy. Stayed tuned for up and coming seminars that will expand upon your enhanced awareness of what is possible with advanced hypnotherapy techniques.

All the best,

Michael:

I am glad to hear that you enjoyed Parts Therapy and that you took those tools back to your practice.
I have arranged to have Roy Hunter teach his Parts therapy workshop July 9,10 & 11 in Little Rock, Arkansas. I read Roy’s book a couple of years ago and liked his author’s voice he presented.
I never got the chance to work directly with Charles Tebbets and have always regretted it. I wanted to make sure that my wife and I got a chance to work and learn from Roy. The more I hear about Roy's Parts therapy workshop the more excited I am about Roy coming to Arkansas.

I am attending a Don Mottin class next weekend and I’ll let you know the outcome.
Don’s classes are usually fast paced and information packed.

Yours in Health,

The classes Bruce Kaloski offered in Southern California were among the best I have attended. Why? His organization of the material, and synthesis of application based on real world experience. I have found that in many cases is not the nifty technique that is most important to me, but the ability of a teacher to translate an idea into actual practice....
I am looking forward to Roy's class in Little Rock that John Brochu is hosting, and have enjoyed other trainers like Ron Eslinger, and some of the training I have had through psychology training groups such as ASCH.
I have read many things that Roy has been a part of as well as met many that have changed because of his influence. Great story Michael. I have learned from Gerrald Kien and Cal Banyan. That training in itself changed my life. I have also attended recently a stage hypnosis class with Marc Savard in Las Vegas. The stage hypnosis part was not all of my life changing training as much as looking at hypnosis through a different set of eyes. I was chugging along and doing quite well and then attended his class. I believe I am a far better hypnotist because of this experience. I look forward to attending training in the future with other great masters.
