Is working with the older population a little different? i have been noticing that they do not require the typical inductions as soon as i can get their attention and then just a progressive relaxation does the job, because they have so much to tell you, and its in between that i find a point to lead them.I would highly appreciate your comments, experiences and advise.
Thanks
Sunita

Hi Ian,
with all my respect, what i am experiencing is that with only eye fixation and progressive relaxation they go so deep that they find it hard to talk,so i bring them out a little.was just trying to know if i am missing out on something.
Thanks a lot, yes to go with the flow is the right thing.
I will add that my wife of 10 years is 32, and I have no need of Viagra. Enough said?

"I'll have what he is having..." =^..^=

Hey Ian and Sunita --
When I turned 60 in April - I told myself and anyone who would listen that 60 is the new 40 but I was told no -- it's the new 30--

FYI - I believe that most people go where they need to be to get the most out of their sessions -- My advice is focus on the outcomes -- If they are getting the expected outcomes they were where they needed to be-

There is one special consideration working with "elders" and "youngins" and that is they might have different frames of referrence --

Warmest regards,
Michael E.

I will be 60 in a couple of months. Don't call me 'different', else I may get angry with you! ;-)

Age is only a number. Go with the flow ......
