HypnoThoughts.com

the Free Hypnosis Social Network

I'm going to keep this really quick.

This Saturday many of you were on hand for my two hour free talk on insights into being a successful hypnotherapist.  Those of you in attendance know that was our beta test of the latest set of upgrades to the HypnoSummit's distance learning platform.  While there were a number of big technical improvements, we know we don't have everything perfectly polished yet.  Which is why we want to hear from you in time for us to make the needed changes by the HypnoSummit on September 25th.

We'd really appreciate it if you would fill out the quick survey we've included here:

Like I said, it is just a few questions and it will really help us.  We are working very hard to make this learning platform as easy to use as possible and to provide the content and quality you are looking for.

The HypnoSummit is the industry leader in online learning platforms and has more features and options than anyone else.  As we continue to innovate, we need to check back with you guys and find out what we are doing right and wrong.

Please take the 2 minutes out of your day to fill out our survey and help us continue to improve our content and make future events an even greater success.

Thank you,
Scot Sandland

I just took the survey
I registered but was unable to attend due to forgetting about a prior all-day engagement. If I were able to access via my iPhone, I could still have attended, but since it's entirely Flash-based ... I realize the need to keep the content protected and the desire for the cool look, but I have to ask if there's a way to program in mobile access as well. I know that would make things immensely more convenient for me and no doubt for others as well.

Can't comment on anything else about it, which is why I'm commenting instead of doing the survey. ;-)

We are looking at iPad integration in the future, but starting very soon all android phones will have flash built in, so it will probably work on them (not promising anything though, I'm not sure of all the ins and outs). The main reason we use flash is that it runs on 98% of computers without the need to download or install anything. Companies like Citrix and Cisco require servers and clients and programs to use their services. We want to make our event work without people having to install anything new.

Streaming this kind of event really would need 4g connectivity or wifi. I wouldn't want to try to watch these on ATT's network where I live.

I was only able to watch a short time on the seminar because I had a client scheduled. What I watched was really good and I wanted more. I don't think I watched enough to do the survey. Have you considered doing a rerun for those who signed up for the seminar and couldn't watch or want to watch again. Perhaps it could be up for a day or two. I was very disappointed not to see the whole thing! Jean
I understand, Scott. I actually had an excellent signal where I was, but AT&T's signal is generally worse than Verizon, as far as I can tell. My wife has Verizon and gets decent to excellent service in our apartment while I get practically no service in the apartment. And she has Flash on her phone, but she has the HTC version, not the new full version the other Android models are getting (no update for her phone yet), so I have no clue if her phone would have been able to handle it.

It's just something that frustrates me in general about the iPhone. Because it doesn't have Flash, many websites that would make great candidates for mobile browsing are inaccessible. Of course, the site designers could use HTML 5 and AJAX and whatnot, but that's more work that they shouldn't have to do just for one device.

Anyway, sorry I missed it and I'm looking forward to what you do in the future with it.

Did the survey as a way of saying thanks for your sharing.
Hi Scott!

For all of us who were unable to attend, when will you be posting the replay? I'm really looking forward to it!
For some reason I just tought London is 5 hours behind me (stupid, because I call friends in Holland and know the time difference), so, I didn't watch the seminar. Four days had pass and still feeling bad about that.
For all of you who are asking, this video will be available in the HypnoSummit Library during the Hypnosummit on Sept. 25th and for the three week period afterward. For $85 (if you sign up before Sept. 10th) you will not only get this 2 hour video with Scott but you will get 24 more hours of lectures as well---at least half of those are on practical practice building.....newly emerging markets, etc. If you want to have more clients then this HypnoSummit is for you. We carefully put together a line up for speakers who are willing to help you increase the number of clients you see and increase your taxable profits. You can watch both Scott and the other 24 hours of lectures as much as you want, 24/7 for three weeks. To sign up go to
Sorry I missed your generous presentation (had clients, yup, Saturdays are often a work day)...hope to catch the content later.
