I am super excited this first event was so AWESOME! Even if I do say so myself.

A BIG thank you to Kathleen for staying an extra hour to answer everyone's questions, and HUGE thank you to Scott Sandland for giving this project the thumbs-up!

Just For Fun... Let's see which Hypnotist can get a feature story on NPR!!!

I found this while doing research to update my list of Free Press Release Sites (stay tuned, my list was way out of date I'll post the link here when I have it current), I found a page on NPR.org where you can submit a story idea to them.

What is really cool is how they guide you along into providing them with something that would interest their listeners across the USA. This is one of the key secrets to a successful press release Kathleen revealed on the teleseminar. Even if you don't decide to submit a story (but you SHOULD), it's a good guide on how to prepare a news release for journalists.

Submit your story idea to National Public Radio

Surprise us. Like all journalists, we are looking for true stories, events or people that present something new, important and interesting to a nationwide audience.

Go on... you know you want to be on NPR. :-)

I just got done submitting a pitch for my client--less than an hour after Craig posted this.

It's only 200 words, so if you have a great story idea, go ahead and share it! You can do this, folks.

I have been around the block a few times, and have worked with many PR firms in the past. None had the passion as you do!! A lot of what you stated I had to find out in a trial and error way but your information put it all in context in my mind, and for that I will be forever grateful.
Craig:
I have been following your blog for sometime now, and during this seminar you were again your wonderful self. If there is a thing as Karma yours is in good shape!
Scott:
I can not say enough about the things you are doing, just wish you (and this site) had been around in the “old days” could have save me a lot of time and money…haha

You know, life is better when we get to work with and hire people who love both what they do and the value it offers us. We're lucky in that sense, in this "day and age" since more and more of us are doing what we love.
