Another hypnothoughts member said he found that Gil Boyned had passed away this morning.

I do not know if this is true or not. I can not see any news on this.

Have you heard anything?

I have not heard about this yet but you certainly have my concern now, Tommy...

Everyone on this site and everyone that uses the initials CHt., owe a great deal to Gil. A teacher I have tremendous respect for...

Yes mate sadly it is true. Dr John Butler Gils very close friend and colleague of many years announced the news earlier today.
Just an email attesting to this on here as far as I know. If so. . .

May he join with all the other Hypnotic legends whom have gone before him and rest in peace.
John
My sympathays go out to his family and friends he has been a massive influence in our world.

Sorry to hear that. Gil got me interested in hypnosis many years ago.

I am so sad to hear of Gil's death. I was just watching his latest interview regarding regulation of hypnosis on his Online Master site and thought, "He sure looks good!"

Darn. The world lost a wonderful person and a great hypnotist.
I was just last month in his Hypnotism Institute in Glendale, Ca. and it felt like sacred ground. May his loved ones have peace and his legacy immortality.
I am not a direct student of Gil Boyne. I have studied his body of work.
Through a discussion on Hypnothoughts we took our opinions offline in the form of personal emails. I understand why my instructors always spoke so highly of Gil Boyne.
Gil Boyne’s depth of knowledge was impressive…
I hope that Charles Tebbets met him at the pearlly gates.
RIP Gil Boyne!
I have just read Scotts posting and just found this one. I liked his style of working having seen some video footage whilst training. He posted some great info on here which I discovered when I first joined HT.

A sad loss for his family and friends who my thoughts go out to and a sad loss for hypnosis.
