Hi Colin,

I think that part of the difficulty in answering this question,
is that you do not really make it clear,
what you are looking for and why,

which leaves me,
and perhaps others,
having to read between the lines.

As Ricky Says,
you already are an animal (a human being),
but I suspect that you want to expererience,
vividly thinking, feeling and acting like a (particular) animal,
in some situation.
(which may or may not be a sexual thing, as Antonio has suggested).

It does sound to me that you want some sort of fantasy / fetish experience,
and this is not at all unheard of in recreational hypnosis,
and indeed I am sure there are many chatroom/forums
on the internet that would cater for that specific sort of thing.

More clarification from you about what specifically you are looking for,
may or may not get you some clearer answers.
But I do suspect that your needs will be better met elsewhere.

LOve and hugs,

Fable

Hi Colin,

You can be any animal you wish to be, but learn how to do that yourself. It's much healthier in the long run if you are the one in control of your desires. A process of breaking down and rebuilding by someone else may have a big price attached to it.

Best wishes,

Kelley

Let's set aside the useless arguing about semantics for a moment. In the end, the goal here is an extremely vivid imagination, or at least that's the way I understand things. There's nothing inherently dangerous or difficult in that. The only difficulty is that to some it seems like a big deal!

There's a fun theory about the mind. It's that you can have any experience under any circumstances, as long as you don't unintentionally sabotage yourself. Obviously, some people can do that more easily than others. Why? Because that's just the way they've come to use their brains. That's no help for others, of course, because they have their history and seem to be stuck with its consequences.

In reality, your history has no necessary consequences. If it has consequences, your mind is creating them. It's a huge logical fallacy: the past doesn't actually determine the future. People claim it's rational to predict what's going to happen from your experience, but rational doesn't equal logical. Despite that, there is this big idea among many hypnotists that people who are "analytical" are hard to hypnotize, especially to the point of being able to experience absolutely anything. If anything, people who really deeply analyse stuff should notice that it's their minds that determine what's going to be permissible to happen based on experience, right? So that they could reason away this mental structure and henceforth become excellent in controlling what goes on in their minds, right?

Sorry, but no. The dilemma these "analytical" people find themselves in is a conflict between reason and experience. Reason says something ought to be possible (e.g. super-vivid imagination); experience says that they don't know how that's supposed to work. They end up perceiving a huge gap in the middle, and the more they focus on that gap, the less they focus on the actual outcome.

Now, everyone who has watched "The Matrix" knows that it's possible, within a reality of your own, to jump across a huge gap. But how? If you're not good at "just doing it", you have two choices.
Number one: work up to it. Design a list of outcomes of increasing difficulty.
Number two: get outside influence. This happens in "The Matrix", too: Neo gets killed (and subsequently reborn, after a fashion), and suddenly he can see. Before that, all he could do was a few magic tricks, like bending a spoon or slowing down bullets. Now he's no longer limited by how much more difficult the bigger magic seemed to be.

I'm not suggesting you get yourself killed, of course. We'll have to look at this metaphorically: it's about "killing" a mental state, and rapidly replacing it with something entirely new and unknown. In this entirely new and unknown state, there are no limitations... because all limitations are always state-dependent. Most people can dream vividly (though they rarely remember their dreams), even though they can't imagine things vividly while they're awake. The difference is in state (and let's not argue here about the definition of "state").
It's not always easy to create a new state all by yourself. Usually, if you create it yourself, it's associated with what's often described as "a blinding flash of insight" – a moment in which your perspective shifts instantly and permanently. If you every notice yourself having some kind of insight, expect limitations to have disappeared! New insights can have far-reaching consequences inside your mind.

If you focus on what you already know about how you don't know to achieve your outcome (e.g. the vivid imagination thing), you're not going to move forward. Stop thinking about it. Focus on other things. Get as many other ideas inside your head as you can, as diverse as possible (and it doesn't hurt if those ideas are about flexibility and possibilities rather than rigidity and limitation, or if you can see the flexibility in them). Inevitably, your mind will absorb these other ideas in many different ways, and when you least expect it, you might suddenly find that you are now approaching your outcome from a completely different direction, and now it's no longer the path across the desert and through the shark tank, but a straight yellow brick road. And you don't even have to deal with the Wicked Witch of the West, because you've already figured out the deal with the silver shoes.

I'd work with you personally, making use of the new ideas I'm constantly developing, but I'm pretty busy these days. In a few weeks things might look different.

Colin....I don't quite understand what you are asking....are you requesting that one of us perform post hypnotic suggetions that you visualize, imagine, picture, or pretend that you are an animal? What is the presenting issue you wish to address and what is your desired goal?
