I'm dying and I have been told to stop smoking now! Please help!

I have someone who 'needs' to stop smoking as instructed by the GP (or MD).

I will remove all associations of the dreaded weed with no issues; however will the 'need to smoke' manifest in some other obsessive behaviour or will the hypnosis make the sub c stop smoking with no manifestation of other obsessive behaviour?

The chap smokes up to 40 per day and has had a terribly abusive childhood. He has worked hard and has a wonderful family life the only thing he has left to conquer is the smoking (his words).

Someone is being rather tiresome.....

I will be checking out the ISP of the anon emailer - and Wayne if it is you I will report it to the moderators and see about getting you removed from this forum - spamming and trolling....not clever!! But then again you are from your own viewpoint studying and practising something that you believe doesn't exist - I suppose that is verging on the fraudulent - rather than professional!

Check Duncan my friend as I am not the one doing the anon thing!

Have me removed if you like you have dammed me for eveything else. For someone who believes i have nothing to offer or fraudulent you speed a huge amount of energy with regards to me.

Would you like some relaxotherapy? There are loads on here you can ask.

UFO's don't exist either but there is lots of research on them! Oh and things para-normal. So if i choose to train in and research something that can't be proven thats my perogotive.

Oh and stop all the threats its nothing more than you being as annoying as a puppy, now how can i get rid of you?

And a changed picture, Wayne - probably more appropriate with the red horns - this is tiresome so I am not going to follow this thread any more, Wayne
Duncan as long as hypnosis can sell it it doesn't matter who buys into it!

Duncan,

Please allow me to quote from your site.

"If an individual wants to achieve their outcomes in a single session this would take 3 hours and cost £150.00; however to ensure that all the individual's issues are covered I sometimes recommend a three session approach, of an hour each, at the same hourly rate as my normal consultation fee of £50.00p.h."

All the issues? The person who wants to stop smoking comes to you to stop smoking.

So in my previous post I guessed correct about the length of time it takes you to stop your unfortunate clients smoking.

I am an ex-smoker myself and do you know how i stopped?

When i was working towards Stage 1 at the National College of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy at the Oxford Campus we came across the section of smoking cessation and guess what out of the 5 or 6 of us I was the only one who smoked. The National College presents smoking cessation as a two part vehicle. The first part being a communication with the Sub c (love that reference) in the form of ideo motor finger movement. It was to ask the client, in this case me, when was it ready to stop smoking. My ideo motor response was either 3 or 4 weeks. Some ego boosting was conducted and my hypnotherapist trainee terminated the session (about 8-10 mins).

2 weeks later I light up and smoked a cigarette, lit another one and chuckled to myself as i threw all my smoking paraphernalia into the nearest waste receptacle. I laughed because what ever i got from smoking had gone and i still don’t smoke to this day.

Perhaps my habit manifested into participating on this forum!

I wonder have you ever smoked. Why did i find it so easy to stop after over 15 years?
