I'm nervous about even offering to be honest I want to do this

I want to help some patients/ friends that I work with, but here is the trick, They are in long term care hospital critical and most of them have traches and are on vents. some can talk better then others, a couple that I'd really like to help are total paralized from neck down, thus on a vent with a trach. whats your take on it?

"Even the comatose are still living human beings and how amazing to reach out to them like this." That's interesting that you say that Cole. I believe that too. When my friend was in a coma, I asked her best friend to let me know where the blanket that she had made her was so that we could cover her with it because I thought it might help Haley. Haley loved her friend and that blanket. The friend never replied though. Maybe she didn't think Haley would know or maybe she was just a heartless coward.

Wow, will you please keep posting on how your services progress? I would imagine (picture and pretend) that you will have experiences that could fill a book, doing this type of work will such people. Even the comatose are still living human beings and how amazing to reach out to them like this.
I am really being drawn to work with people in hospice (and their families and loved ones), so I would love to share experiences as time goes by. Do you already have connections with hospice, critical care institutions?
How did you come to work with the critically ill? Are you already a health care provider?
Please keep in touch.
Warmly,
Cole
