Inducing Orgasm (for show and therapeutic purposes).

Hi.

I just got the idea that maybe some of you have a really interesting approach.

The question is:

How would you (or "do you") induce orgasm or similar orgasmic feeling as a hypnotist?

What do you do? What is your way to do that?

If you are a stage hypnotist - then how do you do that on stage or how WOULD you do that.

If you are a therapist- what would you do to induce orgasm when your clients needs that?

So?

Obtain/establish permission, provide associated arousal suggestions, then either establish trigger, or simply suggest to subject that arousal will continue to increase until orgasm happens.

Ian,
FYI. You missed/didn't mention the most common venue for this type of trance effect. The online recreational hypnosis venue. It is the safe sex, no guilt, hands free, fantasy enabling, hang on to the carpet to keep from falling off the earth type orgasms on steroids, Disneyland of the new Millennium. Think positive hallucinations in the sexual arena. Being able to manipulate all 5 senses, all feelings, and all emotions, with fantasy sexual encounters as the focus. (Was that really Megan Fox that was just here?) LOL.

As a stage hypnotist, I've done this bit with people. I set it up as a "When Harry Met Sally" thing so that people don't have to be embarrassed about it. They can always say they faked it. That's the key in that context.

In the stage show, since they are already pretty under, I fractionate them in and out, then play with suggestions that they are getting aroused, etc and then hit them with suggestions like you are almost there, almost there, then BOOM orgasm. Some people say they had one, others say they faked it. I don't care either way because in that context it is more about the show.

Therapy wise, I haven't done it, but I can imagine doing the same sort of techniques, adding to it an anchor so that they can enjoy one whenever they want safely. The trigger is something they control so that they don't have one driving a car or something where they need their full attention.

If it was a couple, I would use their partner as a trigger. I know there are plenty of hypnotic sex products that basically just do those things and work pretty well with people.
For the show purposes many situations are good even if they are simply faked by your volunteers.
It really does not matter if it's real "hypnosis" or "faked" state until it brings huge audience response.
But in some cases it makes me wonder....
Let's say that someone is "faking" it. Now the question appears- would this person fake it in "normal" situations?
Usually the answer is no. So then we may consider Milgramm's effect- following the authority. Or sheep-effect. Or peer pressure. But again.... it all suggests that because of circumstances at least behavior is different and this suggest altered state of consciousness... so... we have a loop... maybe faking is nothing else as simple response to hypnosis?

Just thinking:)

In stage, I have seen it done by giving the suggestion that anytime someone shakes your hand you experience the most intense orgasm that you have ever had. Then the hypnotist turns to the audience and says to make sure you show how much you appreciate your volunteers.

Personally I believe that it is an area that should be treated as private if not sacred.
Sexual dysfunction is an issue for the office and even then is a slippery slope for non-trained persons to deal with.

Taking an art such as hypnosis and using it on stage to induce sexual arousal lowers the art to a joke amongst many and sets it into the world of the absurd.
It then becomes increasingly difficult to have the art seen for what it is.
That may not sit well with some but that's just my opinion.
I have been truly entertained at a stage show and nothing was performed that was out of place.
My wife who had never seen a stage show and and was somewhat skeptical fully embraced the entire concept and has been one of my biggest supporters referring clients from her own practice in the health field.
I deeply appreciate your answer BUT, the discussion is not about ethics, or points of view if it should be done or not.
DE GUSTIBUS NON EST DISPUTANDUM

This discussion is about how to do that etc not about the above and your point of view if it's ok for show or not.
Again- full respect to your point of view BUT it's not the right discussion.

Well. I have seen it and I have done it several times.
I am interested in other approaches as well. This is why I ask:)
Inducing orgasm without even calling it an "orgasm" the way you say it's a kind of common stuff.
I am not sure after a long time but it was being introduced in one Major Mark (?) hypnosis DVD series.
(I will check exactly and throw additional info later).

I wonder if there are any other guys who use different/creative apporach as well.

I use this skit in my adult stage show. I give one person the suggestion that every time you see me touch my forehead.
You will have the most intense and very loud orgasm. You don't care if the neighbors can hear, just let in out nice and loud.
Keep tapping they keep going, stop then start again. This is a very funny bit.
