Oh I see HypnoTherapy. Forgive my ignorance.

If hypnosis is used to treat physical symptoms by someone with no access too or training in physiological diagnosis then of course it is dangerous. Hence the dislike of hypnosis used in this way by people so trained considering there are hypnotherapists out there who have trained on home study courses and reading scripts out there.

Actually the vast majority are such.

The dangers of having your teeth or appendix taken out by non professionals, despite the usefulness of hypnosis to reduce the pain.

Whether Stage Hypnosis, street hypnosis, covert and conversational hypnosis or Clinical hypnotherapy, the fact is the art of actually getting hypnosis and applying it is very easy.
