Salt in water is corrosive and salt also attracts water.
Hi Jackie,
I know this blog is from the past, I have just seen it for the first time and was compelled to add a comment. I don't know if you came up with a metaphor or not, but the creative part of me that is grooming me for future greatness had something to say.
Everyone knows about water, necessary for life.
And salt, preserves, and also regulates hydration that sustains life.
Both of value.
When salt and water are combined, still of value, hospitals maintain life around the world with that solution.
Whether apart or together, no matter which combination you are talking about, you have a solution.
Even when water starts to evaporate from saltwater, not only is the result of the transformation essential to life, we also get a benefit from the transformation itself.
As water vaporizes it can become a fog.
When the mind is foggy we automatically start looking for clarity.
The process itself conjures up our learned talents for problem solving. When something is unclear we seek a solution, and as we start to uncover the solution, the fog lifts and clarity arises.
In the body, the salt creates that wonderful balance that is essential for life.
The salt can be seen as a natural balancing force for those in a fog as it also helps to see life more clearly. And perhaps it is the fog of life that prepares us for helping others while preserving positivity.
There is no loss of value when things are in perspective, so when things appear to be out of perspective and a bit foggy, remember the value of all.
Steve
