Where can one get a source of binaural beats?
You can creat your own using Audacity (free software download). I have given Amanda the instruction that I use to create the binaural beats and I will paste them into this message.
Binaural beats can be created in Audacity. If you don't have it go ahead and download it (it's free!!!). Once you have it installed go ahead and open it up and follow these steps.
1. at the top select Tracks, Add New, Audio Track
2. Repeat step 1
3. Select the first audio track in the lower window and click on the down arrow next to the words Audio Track and select Left Channel.
4. Repeat step 3 for the other track you created but this time choose Right Channel.
5. Slect the top track (the one you made left Channel) and then at the top of the program click on Generate, Tone.
6. Change the frequency to 100 and change the duration for 60 seconds (just for this example). Click OK
7. Repeat step 6 for the Right Channel but this time make the frequency 104. This will create a binaural beat in the delta range (.5 to 4 cycles per second) which is associated with deep sleep. Click OK
Now go ahead and click play and just focus on the sound (headphones enhance the experience) and you will feel yourself beginning to change states.
Binaural beats are the way your brain interprets the 2 different frequencies in each ear and tricks itself into hearing a beat that doesn't really exist. You can do the same thing to create theta beats (which are associated with deep hypnosis) by creating a frequecy at 100 in the left channel and 106 in the right channel.

your instuctions were very clear, and easy to follow, I have just had half an hour of fun, playing around with that.
Thanks for the gift.
