Making a Hynosis CD Program for Sleep!........Any suggestions, thought, or inputs!

I am making a hypnosis cd for sleep to sell at the back of the room for our next three upcoming shows. The self hypnosis cd's were an idea, that came with the recent launch of our web-site just a few months ago. I am really looking forward to making this cd, but as I research different methods, I am beginning to see that there is many different ways this cd can be done....
I am interested in anyone's thought, idea's or concepts on how to do a good Hypnosis CD for Sleep!

Thanks Jackie,

The general format of the script draws a lot from one of my earliest,
and best teachers,
Peter Blythe.

To get the sounds to move around from ear to ear...

try playing around with the envelopes, on audacity.
gradually increase volume on left, as you gradualy decrease volume on right,
don't dcrease it too much though or you will lose the beat.

then vice versa.

there is probably a much easier way,
but I enjoyed playing around and working it out through trial and error.

Love and hugs,

Fable

There are several mindmachines with built in programes that will take you thru binural beat "journeys" from fully awake to deep theta trance and back up again. They use constantly shifting atonal frequencies to make it more interesting and way more natural. You can record them easily on a stereo digital recorder or a PC! If you know anything about sound editing ... you can take folks anywhere you want them to go.
Cool edit Pro has a built in brainwave generator which is also very nice, but a bit of an investment. and then there is always brain wave generator ...

Nov 8, 2004 ... BrainWave Generator is a brain wave stimulation software that generates tones with binaural beats. Effects of brain stimulation range from ...

Cheers Hugh,

YOu just reminded me that I have an old MC2 mind machine in a cupboard somewhere.
the type with dark glasses and flashing lights in synch with the sounds.

IT has several programmes, of varying lengths, and purposes, I will have to fish it out, (if I can remember which cupboard it is in).

love and hugs,

Hi all I don't know if this was coved here but you can buy blank printable CD's and DVD's. You can print on the disk with a cheep $100.00 or less printer. You should never use a clear or paper label that you attach to a DVD. It will cause the DVD to spin off center and the video will skip. Sorry if this is OT.

I just thought of something I had seen used for a sleeping hypnosis track years ago. It was along the lines of using time distortion and possibly suggesting that the person can feel even more rested as it can feel like a full 8 hours of sleep etc.

Even better use a Lightscribe drive. The results are exceptional!

I've found a source of Lightscribe discs on the net which are really cheap. I paid £11.88 for a tub of 50 cd's (delivery included). http://www.discworlduk.co.uk/Ridisc-CDR-52x-Lightscribe-v1.2-50-Cak... considering what you save on ink this is the way to go!

I can second that, I have a lightscribe system and it's excellent. Specialist discs are needed but at just a few pence more it makes no odds and the results are fantastic.

Anchor their bedroom to sleep. In fact, anchor the idea of any time they want to sleep, especially when not in their own bed, they can give themselves a suggestion for it. I rarely have trouble sleeping, when when I do, my own suggestion is "Sleep now!" My own CD uses guided imagery, similar to Jerry Kein's. Clients always tell me that session is the best sleep they ever had. NOTE: All hypnosis promotes improved sleep and reduced stress. That's what I suggest to all my client's in pre-talk and that is what they come back to tell me has happened to them. Power of suggestion.

I use Adobe Audition 3 and record a similar effect to Scott using the panning tool and soft echo. I think the result pretty good.
