So another holiday is coming up and with Valentines, Mother's Day I used them to promote my business as in the idea that hypnotherapy would make a good gift. However, my mind has pulled a blank as to how I can incorporate Memorial Day into any of the services I offer.

Are any of you lot out there using this holiday to promote and if you are, how?

Umm... the only things that come to mind are not very cheery, such as PTSD and bereavement. Memorial Day seems to be more a day of reflection than celebration, so I'm not sure how you could promote this.
Hmmm Past Lives.....reflection??????
Setting Goals ..... Graduation????
I'm planning to attend a luau to help a local man raise money for his heart transplant.

I bet there will be at least 25 people there, and since my business card emphasizes weight loss, there I am, mixing and mingling, handing out cards and answering questions, when people ask me what I do, and explain that I am a hypnotist...

I am noticing that whenever I mix and mingle, just in a mixing and mingling way, someone always asks a question about hypnosis.

Attending another event might be a fall-back plan for you, if you are not finding a better idea?...
Hey guys,

I went to the charity luau for a Polynesian Hawaiian man raising $ to pay for his heart transplant.

I like luau anyway, and I am a soft touch for charity when my contribution goes more directly to the person, instead of 90 per cent overhead for united way or one of those other outfits.

As a pecuniary part, I figured maybe 50 would attend, and perhaps I could mix and mingle, and hand out cards.

Although I had a great time enjoying the Don Ho band and the hula dancers dancing to the polynesian drumming, I did not get the opportunity to mix and mingle.

I would guess that 500 people were there, with 450 adults.

But I DID learn ONE new thing. There was a raffle, with good but not tremendous prizes. One prize was an oil change. One prize was a haircut from a stylist. Several prizes were free meals from restaurants; several prizes were free single sessions from legitimate masseuses. Nothing worth more than 75 dollars.

But it was easy to imagine that the grand prize raffle could be me, with a 3 session package worth more than $350, and then I'd get to greet the winner onstage, and then talk into the mic for 10 minutes to 450 souls about how hypnosis can help a person, and why it is such a good prize.

So I will be a prize in charity raffles, just to get my name out.
Fundraisers, festivals etc...Graduation has been this past week for out state...,might be different elsewhere...
