Hi all!
I want to explain something that happened this morning. Sorrry but a little back story will help make more sense of it. My wife is a very lovely lady and she used to exercise religiously, as a result she is in great shape and very healthy. For some reason, the past few months she has not been exercising. She still eats healthy and looks great but her energy levels have dropped and she is always telling me how she wishes that she would exercise again. I just finished reading Hypnosis for Beginners and learning about suggestions and 'trance' states. Ok the stage is set.
I woke before my wife did and wondered if I use her semi awake state to suggest something to her so I began to talk to her about what a great country we live in and how every morning we can 'get up and exercise our rights as free people' and how 'wonderful it feels to be able to exercise' our right to choose if we 'want to sweat' the small stuff or not....etc.. She half heard me and half responded to what I was saying as many do when first waking up.

Fast forward a bit, we are both up and in the living room with the children and I asked my wife what she was going to do today to my suprise she stated that she was 'going to eat breakfast then exercise...I mean bath. Maybe I am a little too excited by this but after all I am only beginning.
So what do you think? Should I count this as a victory? I mean she didn't exercise but clearly it was on her mind? As always I appreciate and value your opinions, thanks in advance.

HI there Curtis
i want to welcome you to this happy part of the world and I hope you may be able to contribute alot or even alittle as time goes along!
Now on to your question I would have to say I would not consider it a victory until she is actually doing some exercises.
Say like you come home and see her doing some type of exercise say in front of the TV or whereever she does her exercises.
That is when I would consider it a victory. Right now I would say you have caused her to remember the exercises. It have may beeen she has just been too busy to do them and later when she did remember them, she was already for bed In her mind at the time She Might have thought "No sense getting all sweaty just to try and go to sleep". (Even though I hear some people like to get the weight loss done that way lol) It might have been something else might have distracted her from working out, or maybe she is wanting you to help her with her workouts as well! So many reasons! But keep up the good work and keep us apprised on how things are going !
bye for now
